I felt like even with the two tc boom, the mongols were pretty even with abassids, which should pretty much never be the case imo. If someone is going two tc boom and the other person does no pressure and reaches age 3 at about the same time, the boomer should always have a clear advantage. This shows how op the mongols really are.
Abbasid is a great civ, I love its techs and its features. But it does need some extra love, like for example granting an automatic House of Learning tech per age. A few tweaks could make it incredible. For example on team games or closed maps, you can go imperial and use a combination of hand cannoneers, camels and pikeman / horseman + siege. YOur infantry gets +2 armor and extra HP, it's really strong
I'm nowhere near the level of these players, however I was under the impression that Mongols always beat the Abbasid if they do a tower rush and early aggression. Did they agree beforehand to both boom?
Yeah i notice this on alot of games. Love watching AOE4 so far, but seems the game kinda doesnt give a chance for a comeback. And everyone loves to see the underdog comin back and takin the game.
@@Piotuli mongol player here has more res than his opponent. He can also double produce units. He has map control with those forward towers. His vills are technically getting resources uninterrupted. And also, walls are overrated. Aba player here doesnt have walls but successfully defended the push.
You gotta remember the Abbasid has been on 2 TC since ~6.5 mins. When the surrender comes through the vill counts should be about 80 - 50 and the difference will just grow.
Same, I saw how much pressure Leenock was, looked at the time remaining in the video and decided "oh it's gg for Leenock, it's obvious". But noo, it's 2B who taps out. Still, this is basically a SC2 style all-in
Easy win after the Two TC's a single TC Mongol can't keep up Abbasid if castle is just two minutes behind... I would like to see an Abbasid victory after defending an English or French rush please and see how this is played out for a build order for Ab Thanks for the content Fitz

Awesome defense. I'm wondering if there was any other harass going on we didn't see.

Although it is different, the new upcoming patch seems to address some of the early game problems of the abbasid.
Dude was I the only one to ever leenocks first age up, he aged with 0 0 0 0 resource, how good is that
2:42 for people interested, nice touch
So AD is in his strongest phase 2 TC, 3. Age and still on the bag foot in every game, this civ needs some love
Can't know for sure which side the game would go on till the very last minute. Very enjoyable match!

No rush agreements aren't really a thing outside of noob games
Kinda a premature surrender. Wanted to see how he would defend Abbasids push

With mongols it is very hard to defend without walls etc. Especially if you don't have map control and less army than your enemy.
