“Has it ever struck you that life is all memory, except for the one present moment that goes by you so quick you hardly catch it going?” ― Tennessee Williams.
What kind of questions are these? It's like an alien for an interviewer.
Williams' tongue seemed to have a life of its own.
This is so interesting because this is the only video that I've been able to find on here of this Tennessee Williams interview. It was said in several documentaries that he was extremely intoxicated in it and you can kind of see it if you watch him closely. Nonetheless, he is one of the best American playwrights of all time and I absolutely love his work.
Great interview! Absolutely Amazing Writer and Man
Beautiful
Williams is like giddy school girl.
1:32 what a smile
David Frost can be so daffy at times.
What happened to Truman’s forehead?
Tennessee Williams was a great artist, who wrote every day of his life. Capote was a very good writer, but got distracted by society. He lacked Williams's discipline, when it came to writing.
Both lost a lot to the drink. Shame really.
@@jonisafreak3 and yet it couldn't have been any other way. Presumably both gained something from the drink as well.
@@mattpopemusic same with Hunter S Thompson.
Frost….sooooo overated
Interviewer is as atrocious as the colors of that set.
