I don’t think Nate’s unorthodox style is the problem. It’s his lack of speed and zero force and in his punches that’s worrisome.
We've seen Jake stick behind the jab before and not always rely on power in his fights. Imo BJ started to make him a boxer brawler instead of what he should've been, a pure boxer with power.
Jake doesn’t have the talent nor discipline to be a good traditional boxer. His footwork is atrocious and has not gotten better. His stance is terrible. He still can’t keep his hands up. His only skill is being able to wildly throw out overhand hooks and catch opponents unaware. There is a reason why Paul only fights over-the-hill mma fighters and not fellow journeyman boxers in his age range. Fighting Tommy Fury, who honestly isn’t even that good, showed why Paul doesn’t fight actual boxers. He would get crushed by any top 100 cruiserweight fighters. Would be hilarious to see him try and fight Badou Jack.

Nate bout to laid the f out by Jake and I hate Jake Paul.
I see the fight playing out two ways..one, Jake comes out strong the first few rounds trying to get Nate outta there early and being unsuccessful as Nate’s chin is made of steel, gassing himself out in the process, which then Nate takes advantage and starts putting on the pressure ultimately getting some knockdowns on Jake, possible TKO win for Nate. Two, Jake plays it smart and safe, both fighters touching each other up here and there nothing too crazy leading to a judges decision to either fighter depending. Outside and in the clinch is when Nate’s boxing really shines, especially when he’s pressuring. Only advantage Jake has is power.
I seriously don’t think Nate Diaz’s chin is strong as people would think he competed at a way lower weight which I’m not discrediting him for I’m just saying at a higher weight comes more power which I don’t think his chin will hold up. Jake definitely has the advantage to this fight but we will see.

Because Jake is not a real boxer. He’s a spoiled brat pretending to be a boxer and he knows he can throw money at old mma fighters to knock them around. It makes him feel good about himself instead of facing the reality that he’s not good enough to actually go pro, like when Tommy Fury (a mediocre boxer) tuned him up.

Nate is going to have ZERO power in 10 ounce BOXING gloves , he barely has any power in 4 ounce MMA gloves. Jake is not going to have any respect for his punches at all. Nate in his last fight looked old , slow and TIRED against a washed up Tony Ferguson. The writing is on the wall at this point. Jake drops Nate HARD in a bloodbath. I got Jake Paul via TKO in 5 rounds .

No it's not. KSI's elbow was reckless and out of control. Jake's movement is controlled and won't land on the opponents head. Like RR pointed out Jake will only move the opponent's guard slightly with the elbow movement to then land a follow up punch.

@mattm6200you could never compete in BJJ but be a black belt that would school somebody that has trained 4 years. Nate’s been training with Richard Perez for 20 years and spent countless more hours in a boxing ring than Jake Paul, clown.

Jake doesn't hit harder than Conor and most likely doesn't hit harder than Leon or even masvidal. Yes Paul is bigger but he ain't THAT much bigger. Ppl are way over emphasizing the size differential. Size discrepancy in striking only matters when it's a huge difference like 40 lbs, it's not like MMA or grappling where even 10 lbs can make a difference. Yes he will have more power than most lightweight and welterweights but he doesn't hit harder than Conor.
Jake Paul is a natural cruiserweight in his PRIME. Yes he punches harder than Conor McGregor. Yes he punches harder than Leon , he even punches harder than Masvidal as well.
Jake is NOT a 145 pounder moving up 2 weight classes to fight Nate like Conor did. Conor was a featherweight moving up who beat Nate into a bloody pulp and even dropped him MULTIPLE TIMES. That was many years ago. Nate is now 38 years old and washed up. Nate is NOT winning this fight , no way , no how. Jake drops Nate HARD in a one sided beating. TKO in 5 rounds 👌
