While yes, XWM doesn’t perform well on expert, it is made for endless mode. Endless gives a lot of cash, so you can max out the turrets quickly. Over half of your XWM’s weren’t at half. Still though, it needs a lot of cash. If you can get that cash, the payoff could be better than jugg. I don’t have XWM yet so don’t take my work for this. This is just something I noticed.
Juggernaut has some rough edges as bottom path doesn't have ignore bullet resistance and more DPS but top path has ignore bullet resistance but deals less DPS While XWM in the other hand can rebuild, So you wouldn't need to micro it and XWM are pretty good until wave 50 or so. Top path on XWM has ignore bullet resistance while bottom path is for crowd control but it struggles on calamity and other bosses because the XWMs placement limit is 20 while juggernaut doesn't have a placement limit and also XWM is level locked so you would need to grind 60 lvls to just get the ability to get it, Hope this helped.
The reason why everyone say XMV turret suck is because everyone compare the cost per dps and the damage but no one talk about SURVIVABILITY cuz that’s why the turret shine in endless u would have to constantly have to replace juggs and with turret it can survive from wave 40 to 60 without replacing (max turret) and also it have way better range and crowd control than jugg + can hit anything unlike jugg can only hit or stealth or bulletproof or u have a 2 tower to make it unstealth and have it bullet proof especially since no one is playing expert everyone is doing endless
@@charlesbrady5157 it depends cuz in expert u get 1.5K unless u playing on harder maps wich usually people won’t do that and in endless depends how far u can go for example in wave 80 u get 5.5k gold and it take about 2.5 expert games meaning 3.7kgold and the fact than u can speedrun till wave 90 and get 2k more is way better but depending on how far u can get in endless decide what is best endless or expert if u can’t get far expert is ur best choice is endless is better
you're correct and bottom path is VERY useful and needed. Turret/warship is needed in wave 70 because If you get bottom path JGN apex predator will just simply target it because It targets to the most costing tower. So Turret is good for it. 3 of the top path and rest bottom path will actually help you.
Now as I think about it I find TDX better then all the other tower defense games including tower battles also I got really hyped when the endless mode came out
so max bottom juggernaut has a starting like 800 something dps, so adding EDJ and Commander fully upgraded gets us 1235 DPS, the john buff adds another 300 dps, getting 1500 with just standalone edj and commander with john buff, but using encore and the call to arms, we get a max of 2376 dps on a max bottom path juggernaut, quite a lot isnt it
The reason why I think xwm is because it can survive longer than juggernaut, because on wave 70 in endless my juggernauts got killed as soon as they were placed but my xwm turrets didn’t need to get replaced once
top path is horrible, bottom path and fairly good, but in my opinion it needs a huge buff to top path, b/c it just gets out dps by jug, which is cheaper
the thing with xwm is that it is a pure late game tower. placing It early is basically useless, and its only good levels are its max levels. jugganaut is generally better than xwm except in endless, where xwm actually gets to shine, while jugganaut probably would be used as expensive bait
I made a huge mistake playing tdx. What's the point if john keeps changing everything. There is always a new tower that you always have to spend 100 of hours grinding.

This is probably gonna be the longest comment and it was intended to be. Anyways. Time to explain these towers and what they are good at and what is best *JUGGERANUT* It's a formidable DPS tower for intermediate players and alike. It does not have big range but just enough so that it works. It can absolutely destroy easy mode on deserted island. The top path is sort of useless, becuase laser gunners have similar statistics but overall better becuase of it's price. For a comparison between XWM, it dosen't really compare. Instead of having to sacrifice 70% of the DPS to ingnore bullet resistance, the DPS (top path) has ingnore bullet resistance, which is really awesome against the armored runners, apex predator (especially in solo) and mostly every bullet resistance enemy. It got a huge buff, doubling it's HP, making it even better for expert, you needed some serious micro and selling skill if you were using juggeranut as a main DPS tower, but since it has 4k health, compared to its puny 2k before, for no price and no nerf on the tower, is a W. This tower, being the first towers developed into the game, is sort of expected. You would expect the best towers in a TD game to be worked on first then the early towers? Right. It's price is gonna still take a while if you can't solo, like atleast a few days but it's worth it. *XWM TURRET* This tower was intended to be used in endless mode becuase of it's extremely high price and rebuilds, It's does well on what it's for, and has extremely long range becuase of the amount of fast enemies there. It also has almost twice the DPS of juggeranut and having 4x more range and more health and rebuilds and overall a cooler design. It is pretty grindy though but it's still worth it. It does well against the apex predator armored runner and mostly every bullet resistance enemy. especially in expert solo where you can place 40. It's splash damage is also pretty useful, basically raining missiles at its bottom path and doing 276 damage each. It may not seem good at first but once you get 3 of these bottom path XWM turrets prepare to see literal missile rains. This tower works best with stunning towers like the grenadier, golden ranger or cyro blaster. It's range can mostly cover the whole map, and even better with stunners, becuase it might do a 10k damage per stun and considering if you're using grenadier that's like 10k extra damage per 2.5 seconds, and spreading them out is extremely useful, against the ravages which are a common game ender. *SUMMARY* XWM turret is better becuase of its higher range, rebuilds, damage and being able to attack a wide range of enemies. It's high health is extremely useful in endless mode becuase of that.
Juggernaut is balanced, tanky, good price and big dps While xmd turret is a overpiced and gigantic wall of steel that changes the tower it is depending on the path

No the Xwm turrent is better Becuz of the rebuild feature even tho it has less dps when u get missles it has larger range than jug on both paths (I think) and the rebuild feature it’s like a bad jug on one path and a bad art at another path but the rebuild feature makes it some what good
XWM "SUCKS" in anything outside of endless. It is expensive as fuck, but the point is that it rebuilds 3 times which builds it's value up unlike juggs who just die instantly. The 3 rebuilds is exactly what gives it such a high value. Another thing is that it has a pretty decent DPS of 810 for top path and it has armour percing as well. XWM is TRASH before smth like wave 50-60, but it goats after that. The XWM tanks nearly all damage from [Eradicator MK I Combat], [Eradicator MK IV], [Apex Predator], [Predators], [Snow Predators], [Hunters] and all other bosses and mini bosses.

The XWM tanks nearly all damage from [Eradicator MK I Combat], [Eradicator MK IV], [Apex Predator], [Predators], [Snow Predators], [Hunters] and all other bosses and mini bosses.
Tbh only bottom path is good for endless, because you better use your money on railgunners or other single target towers
why tank the damage when most bosses targeting is smart, and tower healing over time slightly negates its revive feature
@@Gysor6969 the later bosses target the more expensive towers and they do too much damage for most towers to survive reasonably so they won’t heal back

WAS*** bad,but now xwm turret can carry you throght endless mode up to wave 70 by just spamming top path (if solo and singularity,and if you get the early game on the bag)
If you blur the swear words out just cut it out
