I think i have exactly the same mill as you do....sometimes it does not start , sometimes the display does not work.....and i need to replace the carbon brushes very often. Mechanically it is more than sturdy enough to mill for the price i payed.....but those chinese electrical parts and motor are rubbish. I am even thinking of replacing the motor and install a belt driven system on this mill. Not sure how yet. I see you are still using a ER32 holder(or a big collet chuck) for your smaller endmills and drills.....that makes it very difficult to see what you are doing Lee. There are straight shank ER16 or even ER11 collet holders available for cheap. They can be fitted in your standart ER32 holder. Makes milling and drilling a lot easyer to see since the light and you vision is not blocked. You can find them with 50 or even 100mm shanks (16-20mm thick depending on the ER type you want).www.dennisdeal.com/products/c16-er16-100l-straight-shank-collet-chuck-holder-100mm-cnc-milling-tool-holder Grt Peter

Funny you mention electrical problems. I went to kick on my grinder tis morning and the KBAC was just flashing a "short" light... I checked all the wiring, that was all fine... Turns out the control pots must of vibrated to "overload"... after an hour of probing, i finally got it running again... So just check nothing has shaken loose... Goodluck, great video as always... take it easy...

Looking good Lee. Can I ask a newbie question? Why does everyone mill the relief to allow the lock to spring, on the outside? Is there any reason it can't be on the inside surface?
    Thanks.

It’s a good question the reason is if you shape the scale it would take away from what’s left of you do a flat scale then this doesn’t matter so much but as I contour mine it does. Hope that makes sense mate.

Definitely change your MCB mate, after 3/4 trips they become unreliable...get a type C..best for things with motors 👍🏼
