alec hardy, alec hardy once said, broadchurch, ellie miller, david tennant
For those asking, this is from a show called "Broadchurch" ! There are three seasons.
every so often my brain just shuts off and the only thing I can think is MILLAH
Same!
SAME
it's legit one of my favorite things of the series
@@CrazySister96 Absolutely! Their dynamic was honestly so perfectly written in general. Man I miss that show.
This gives me The Expanse vibe
protect this smol angry Scottish man at all costs🥺
he's not very smol (DT is TALL) but yes
Protect this giant overaged teen emo boy
@@ilicythings metaphorically smol
He's angy but he's also 185 cm tall
yes
David Tennant is, as always, incredible. And his stronger Scottish accent is making everything just a touch greater.
I wish that he did more with his Scottish accent. I know in doctor who he had to use an English accent but how amazing would he have been with his natural accent 😭
*”FER GOD SEIK! BLOODY TWITTAH!”* *that line alone finally made me watch Broadchurch 😂*
angry scottish noises 😂
Miller: What kind of Scottish ever you are?
*an angry one*
Love the name 😂
@@i_play_the_fiano ah thank you!!

Aww, the Fury fluffy
suits him 😔🙌
god i cant imagine watching this with my family
@@fairy5668 my parents love crime, and uk stuff. I grew up watching Bones, this is was like christmas for us lol
@@skarapeacetalon2800 oh no I mean the sexual stuff. I would have cringed even harder at the "would you like to... relax... here... with me?" scene if my dad had been in the room HAHAHA
Only one missing is
*”What is the POINT of you Craig?!”*
…poor Craig.
Because of the fact that David hardly smiled in this show made me realize that not only he has the most adorable smile I've ever seen, but it's also the thing I find most attractive about him.
After knowing him as the Doctor for about 2 thirds of my life I can only see the Doctor saying this shit which is hilarious all on it's own.
Oh my god samee it's impossible to take this show seriously after watching doctor who😭
Like all I see is 10, 13 rory and gwen from torchwood witg few other minor characters
I also known him as a Doctor but after I watched him as Alec in Broadchurch , he was Alec Hardy to me. That's how good actor he is. No matter how iconic the characters he played in the past , he owns his new role and make you forget his other roles in the past. He did the same thing when he played Killgrave in Jessica Jones. Not many actors can do that.
I have a head cannon that this is just 10 after he lost rose. He just went off to Scottland to sulk.
I was like that too at first. But now when I look at Crowley I only see Crowley
My favourite one is "yeah, I pray nightly you'll stop asking me questions"
Why is Alec such a mood tho 😂
He is so fucking ICONIC
I binge watched this show when I was going through my tenth doctor grieving phase (for the millionth time) a few years back, and all I could see was the tenth doctor undercover as an angry Scottish cop lmao
Is it safe to say that this is the metacrisis doctor after Rose was gone?
@@MidnightWanderer00 It's hilarious! Imagine if you applie that to Crowley, or any others shit he played 🤯
I'm actually in the grieving phase too,
though after watching the 50th anniversary episode I know.. he's happy. He's the second person I've ever cried to. (I don't often cry at shows or movies, now my family knows I'm human)
Hardy: do u wanna... hug?
Miller: NO!!!
Hardy: okay, that was just hurtful
I absolutely ADORE this video
The scene with becca is just painful to watch
The amount of secondhand embarrassment I felt...
@@nikitagorawara omg ikr it’s so painful I’m just like no...Alec just no please no😭😂
@@larat8252 saaaame! I have my face covered with my hands like I'm watching a horror movie playing everytime this scene pops up in a video

@@nikitagorawara yeaah I did that
1:21 I know full well David Tennant is full size and the Jarvis guy is prob really tall but for god sake please let me live in a fantasy world where Alec is a short fiery Scotsman
The scenes at 1:06 is like he is talking to himself:
"I can’t eat that.”
"Oh for god’s sake, who let you in?"
This is the best thing in this hellsite. Do one for MILLAAAAAH pleaaaaseeeeee

And the bloody TWITTAH
The music makes it even funnier oh god hell me
I love how that's now two Scottish Doctors (as in Doctor Who) that have played angry sweary overly Scottish characters in gritty realistic procedural shows. (The other being Peter Capaldi as Malcolm Tucker)
gotta love an awkward angry alec! this was fantastic 😂
I've never seen this show but this compilation has convinced me that it''s the only thing worth seeing
It's actually funny when i'm one of the twitter users who commented to be part of this video hahaha. Good old days
at the funeral in S1 and he says "do aye eirk yu mller" it took me about 8 tried to hear what he said lmao
I love how his Scottish accent here sounds so much different to his actual Scottish accent
His actual accent is scottish
@@amberspyglxss I know that. I meant his actual Scottish accent sounds much different than the accent he uses here
@@anvimishra69 ah okay, yeah it's much stronger here
I'm not sure if it's fake or is it because it gets stronger when he's angry.
@@kittycatmeowmeow963 yeah, we might never know
I searched for the trailer of this series and found that the Doctor, the Doctor, the old Doctor, Rory Williams, and The Queen Elizabeth are in it. I will watch it now.
It’s really good. It’s also got filch from Harry Potter in it if you liked those films. I watched it with my mum and we both said it’s a good binge watch.
@@laurens1931 Filch from Harry Potter is the old Doctor as well as Solomon from "Dinosaurs on a Spaceship" (David Bradley). There are at least 25 actors in Broadchurch who were also in Doctor Who, in bigger or smaller roles, the internet has some interesting lists.
I'm on the fence about watching it, my friends told me not to because I'm sensitive... Is it like, super depressing or horrific??
@@EvlNabiki um well the first season is about the murder of a young boy, but there's no graphic violence. It's obviously pretty sad and the grief of the community and the parents is explored. At the end we see how it happened, I wouldn't say it's horrific though. There is a minor side story that contains mentions of past sexual abuse, but it's not that important and it's only told, not shown.
The second season is fine I guess, a bit boring and not great with pacing in my opinion, but still enjoyable. (It again contains the murder of a child though.)
The third season is about a rape investigation, so that may be uncomfortable to watch for some. It's like the first season, the crime is revealed at the end and it's not very graphic.
In general, Broadchurch is a lot about coping and feeling, not only about the crime itself. The characters, especially David Tennant's character, are explored so we really get to know them and their problems. In all three cases the motivations and the background of the offenders are made clear. For a drama, it has a good portion of humour too.
@@EvlNabiki yeah it’s very dark. The themes, I don’t think it’s gory like shows anything but the storylines and the show implying stuff is difficult to watch sometimes.
The Line "I'm the worst Cop in Britain" had such 10th doctor vibes. I love this show and have screamed "Bloody Twittah" once or twice (I am American, I sound like as ass saying it that way)
0:54 Iconic
"That looks an awful lot like Davi-"
Oh.
😂😂
the absolute disgust on miller's face when alec says he's done being nice is so fucking funny i might never stop laughing

I absolutely love BLOODY TWITTAH. When he got mad it was so hot
Bloody Twitter indeed 😂
When did he say I could kiss you? How could I have missed that?!
Thanks to whoever made this, David Tennant ❤️
He’s like a combination of the 10th dr and killgrave
He really is 😂

I couldn't get past the first few minutes of the show, but this video convinced me to give it a chance
Whe he said, oh millah i could kiss you ❤
this is one of my most favorite videos from youtube. thank you :D
David Tennant is a legend
Sometimes I just walk around the house saying "MILLLAHHH" or "Bloody twittah!" lol
This is my life. Thank you for my wonderful life.
you forgot "what is the point of you craig"

Eleventh doctor : that’s my boy
i just think this is an alternate universe where the doctor had to become a detective
This show made me 1) always refer to Olivia Coleman as "Millah" and 2) refer to everyone with the name Miller as "Millah".
We love the grumpy and ruthless Detective.
I haven't watched all of Broadchurch but I've seen all of Gracepoint, and I adore Carver. I don't know who to choose, though..
We've heard his normal Scottish accent in Takin' Over The Asylum when he played Campbell. But it didn't make things sound as funny as Alec does. 1:17 - 1:21 - 1:33 - 1:42
Also..
0:37 Yes. (I said yes when Emmett asked)
@Sasha05 That's okay, I know remakes can be a bit enraging sometimes. We're still trying to just pay for two episode of Broadchurch. We finished Gracepoint kind of a long time ago so that's just we're waiting for now.
Now I've become quite fond of Alec, having had a dream of him last night on 9/6 and I realized he's such a mood.
I really missed "OI, there's cleaning in progress here, out!" (Loose paraphrasing because Broadchurch got taken off Netflix here and I can't find it anywhere else. I'm cut off. I'm in mourning.)
Can you get Britbox where you are? You can get broadchurch on it but you have to pay, not sure how much. It has a lot of good British shows on it, and it's worth the money. I know you can get it in America and obviously England, but apart from that I'm not sure
0:29 Hardy.....your Doctor is showing
It makes it better when you hear the doctor saying this instead of himself
Man the doctor be going through something...
His Scottish accent is cool!😎👍💖
Wish he used it in Doctor Who.

He’s very very scottish
The first episode of the second season didn't really grab me so I kinda stopped watching the show after that but this video just convinced me to pick it up again. Maybe it'll just take a little bit longer than season one to really get me into it.
Same. I was impressed by first season. Second - I dropped it after half of first episode.
I did not like the trial arc of season 2, but the sandbrook case wherein miller helps out made me continue season 2 ngl 😭
First season was the best. The others are okay but not as good.
I was a bit surprised with Season's 2 first episode as well but I found myself quite hooked from the second ep onwards!

M-I-L-A-H......
And people say Chris Chibnall is a bad writer.
He's just bad at doctor who. He did amazing with broadchurch
Well, I liked Broadchurch but I'm really not fan of what he's done with Doctor Who.
@@rkah6187 yeah
@@rkah6187 meh. I like it.
I think, like my opinion on Moffat, the individual episodes are good, but a lot of the overarching stuff is just... eh.
@@samuelbarber6177 True, I never did like the overarching plot in Moffat's stories, they were always way too convoluted and often almost impossible to follow. Or things are just shoehorned in at the last minute (like the Mel storyline) and we are expected to pretend it isn't.
On the other hand, I think Chibnall has the opposite problem, he often treats us like idiots and has the Doctor lecture the companions and spell things out so explicitly I feel like I'm watching 'Dora, the Explorer'. And the companions don't feel fleshed out, there is no feelings of camaraderie between them and the Doctor. These are my main issues with his run, there are of course some good episodes but there is the potential for so much more and that annoys me.
This was wonderful
