You might consider giving hidden falls a chance. I dont know exactly how far it is from from you though.
Ive been a few times driving from the austin area for a day.
Every time ive gone to Barnwell its been for a 3-4 day weekend and we tent camped at one of the sites.
Its close enough to town and Gilmer has just about everything you need, plus Longview is only 30 minutes away for bigger things like tools from home depot.
Over all its a great spot for a weekend get away.

Hay Jack Monkey, been watching & liking your vids from your start.I also have a 23 Gladiator Ruby.its my sixth Jeep, been driving them for years . I'm just not a Toyota fan boy.. I have noticed just a slight difference in the colours & patterns of the rear tail lights.Just comparing the difference in the Australian & US model.Just a quick suggestion mate, can U inform your air pressure's & gear selection on some tracks. That sort of Tab Data is always good to hear from other Jeep owners know matter where we are on this planet. Thanks,Steve from QLD Australia. Hey thanks Steve, I can certainly let you k or what psi I run as well as gear ratios and actual gear I run! Sounds like another video for me to describe the 4th settings to use while wheeling out! Thanks mate, I love the land down under! One of my favorite places I've traveled to!

    It's really bumpy Clark...really bumpy...
Not sure what you are looking for, maybe a Forest Service Road.
Cross Bar is one of the biggest and best parks that I have been to. I rate Hot Springs Offroad Park just a little better.
There is 150+ miles of trails from easy to as crazy as you want. I go there about once a week and still find new trails each time I go.
BTW, skip Hidden Falls too of you don't want "bumpy".

Well it is definitely one of the bigger parks I've been to! I liked a lot of the trails and the terrain and maybe the rites we took were just that, "bumpy!" Maybe it was just the trails we selected! It has a lot of great perks though!

@@JackMonkeyJeep Naw, you were on a good trail. Texas and Oklahoma is just rugged trails with loose rocks.
