Mariazellerbahn bei Neuschnee

"Mariazellerbahn" is a alpine 760 mm narrow gauge railway in Austria. Since more than 100 years, first electric locomotives "1099" from year 1911 are still in every days service. 9 new trainsets are ordered for year 2013, saving the line for future, with up to date comfort and speed. 2 of the old locomotives will be reconstructed to their original shell (today's shell is from the 1950s), but it is not to likely "1099" will stay in 4 season service, so pictures of the old engines, throwing snow out of the trak with the big extra plow will be rare in future.
