If you look carefully, no one had TV's or PS3's or microwaves or refrigerators that worked all day or most didn't even have electricity 24 hours a day, yet, in the majority of the pictures you could see the glee in all their faces that was real for just being photographed. As hard a life it was for most, they were happy being with friends and family. There was so much to learn from our ancestors.

Elvin yes but pico now, although more modern and less affected by culture is at least not in poverty
I still remember only one car in prainha in 1969 and riding on top of a caru do buos full of corn...great memories!
