Hi Tom I just recently subscribed to your channel last week because I ordered a TecsunH-501X from Anon-Co and I'll be getting it in a couple of days. It's been a long time since I've used a shortwave radio. I had a Grundig s 350 and absolutely loved it. I had wire stretched from my house out to Three Trees in my yard, the wire was draped over branches high in the tree with weights on the end of The Wire so when the wind came it didn't break them and I got excellent reception.
this video proves just how selective and sensitive the flagship is...Thanks for showing me this, that 2500 time signal is rare. Good catch Tom!!

(Now a video on the methods of deleting channels would be nice. It appears there are at least a few choices on how and how much of the stored/saved memory one can delete.)
How do you find battery life on the 501 . Mine only last a few hours on each battery. The 750 lasts ages on one set of D cells. I much prefer the Grundig in almost every way . Even sounds better in my opinion . I am disappointed with the 501 .
Mine last a few days.
