What assurance does a buyer have that at some point in the future, some greedy hedge fund doesn't come in and buy the entire property, thus evicting all the tenants on just a few months notice? -- This seems to be a growing trend, as more & more people are being displaced, even having lived in the same mobile home park for decades.
@Moose_andSquirrel There are no assurances. The corporations that own the parks are making a lot of money especially with it having a 9 hole golf course and 18 Hole golf course. They are probably making over $2 million a month on lot pace rent alone
@@KurtNLisasOpenHouse-cn1tj Thank you for your honesty. Unfortunately, this seems to be a growing trend in mobile home parks. People going into retirement need some stability and assurrances that their park won't be bought-up by some "developer" who re-purposes the property, or some company that will raise the rents with impunity. -- These homes are anything but "mobile" and when the property gets sold, the tenants often have to pay more to live somewhere else. Nobody needs to have their lives up-ended when they're in their 70's, 80's or 90's. Mobile home parks represent one of this countrys' last options for affordable living. There really ought to be laws to protect the people who live there.
@Moose_andSquirrel There are quite a few mobile home parks in the Valley. I haven't heard of any that gave notice to the people and developed the land into something else.
@@KurtNLisasOpenHouse-cn1tj -- Just input "mobile home park evictions" into the Search box above, and you'll find video stories from all over the country. I found 1 video that mentioned 3 parks in the Phoenix area alone. It may not be widespread yet, but just look at how many homes have been purchased in this country by hedge fund companies like Blackrock, etc.? -- I pray this doesn't become a huge trend going forward?

55 plus sucks though.
Keeps it quiet, and the riff-raff to a minimum.
