About UPSC Civil Services Exam:
UPSC Civil Services Exam is one of the most prestigious exams in the country. It has three parts, the Prelims exam, the Main exam and the Personality test, which you need to clear in order to become an IAS or IPS officer. All other Group A services of the Government of India recruit people through the UPSC Civil services exam itself and because of this, there is a lot of competition in this exam. Hence, your UPSC preparation should be strategic, informed and well planned.
Your UPSC preparation should not be based on blind adherence to any program. Rather you should give a thought about how your are preparing. The best way to go forward is to study the blogs and tips given by previous year toppers about how to go about UPSC CSE for all three stages of UPSC Prelims, UPSC Mains and the Personality test also known as the UPSC Interview, and then make your UPSC preparation strategy accordingly.
Doing static subjects like polity, economy, environment, geography and history for your UPSC preparation is a solid bet to increase your chances of clearing this exam. But this must all be supplemented by current affairs for best effect.

Thanks that was wonderful idea i really appreciate 🫡
You’re welcome 😊
Sir for beginners the most imp doubt is how to take notes from the newspaper ,please clear it sir
Sir , i will exam at 2025...I have already done 2022 and 2023 attempt now....approach kya honi chaiye 2025 k liye....kab sai magazine start kru...? Ya phle mains ka syllabus optional k notes pure kru..
Plz Increase volume
What about mains? Is there a difference between monthly magazine and mains 365. If yes, what to choose
But then this is going to compromise a lot of content. I don't feel any resistance toward reading monthly magazines and I have been reading religiously from Jan 2022 to up to date from Vision IAS. I have revised 4 times every monthly magazine till today. I think I should stick to it. What do you think?
stick to the montly magazines
@@UPSCprepIAS Thank you, sir!..
@@UPSCprepIAS Sir I come from Darjeeling and I have been here in Delhi since 2020 going through all the agony that a serious aspirant has to. I request you to try expanding your UPSC education platform in live to places like Siliguri or Gangtok or Darjeeling. We have no good institute or a genuine mentor or coaching in the eastern part of India where the craze for UPSC is simmering slowly.
Sir i did not read current affairs till now for 2023 attempt so what should I do go with pt365 or monthly please help
How can approach current affairs magzine

So may you tell me about this..?
But don't expect UPSC to ask any q from these magazine. They know what aspirants read, what are the sources etc. But,at the end of the day we have to read anyhow 🙂 n that's the fun part of UPSC preparation. Anyway thanks for sharing.

Sir, my father is an employee in pvt company and has salary >8LPA with no other source of income. Please clarify if we fall in creamy or non creamy layer of OBC. I have watched your video and have also read all the OMs but still confused about the salary aspect. Please reply.
Salaried income doesn't count.. Only income from the assets shouldn't cross 8LPA, in that case too agri income is exempted.. You belong to obc non-creamy layer according to the rules..
Thank you
Is this same for EWS candidates?
@@virtualmaza513 To answer in short 'NO'..
For EWS:
annual income of more than Rs. 8 lakh are barred from applying (income from all sources such as salary, business, agriculture, and profession for the fiscal year preceding the application) of the family (applicants, their parents, siblings and minor children).

What a great video. Thanks Sir.
What are alternatives to PT365 of Vision? Which other institutes publish annual compilations? I need to resort to annual compilation only, as I had left studies in between and have not covered monthly magazines.😔
dont tske it before exam .
Sir I've done current from 1 place till oct, then didn't like it so changed to other site, so now how to cover the transition?
I mean did oct magz of diff institute and nov magz of difft instt, now in between if something left how to figure out that?
Ik it's tough, but what's the realistic way to go about it?
revise particular month from where you've read it earlier

Start reading newspapers now (no need to make notes - just read). You will have to prepare Current affairs regoursly from May 2024.
Sir, what about Rau’s Monthly Magazine!? Please Please help!? I’m reading it from June to January. I’ve covered 3 months magazine till now, sir is it reliable!?
Yes, it is reliable - you can follow it, no issues
@@UPSCprepIAS Tysm sir
Sir, Sunya ya Vision??
please reply, bahut confusion hai
Sir help us with whether vision pt360 or Sunya or EPIC?
Sunya is very difficult to retain and revise
@@UPSCprepIAS i found it easy and to the point sir
Sir Abhi kuch padh rhe… toh miss hone ka darr lagta hai… so Padmini mam (AIR 152) recommended Sunya…. What should I do?
I m referring it majorly for newspaper coverage sir.
Any recommendation sir?
How to buy vision current affairs monthly magazine ??
They are available free on their website
@@UPSCprepIASsir only available till December....how can we get the January" one ?
Sir could you please tell me if for Economics studying Mrunal sir’s book important or if I study Nitin Singh book sufficient?
If you understand nitin Singhania you should go for it. Actually mrunal notes are less useful if you don't see his lectures, he explains with memes and all so only the students who watch his lectures understand that ... otherwise most of the books are same cover the same topics just the order is different
Nitin alone good enough
@@banasreepaul4786 ohh thank you so much.
Sir i have been doing vision magazine from june should i go for pt365 or I should revise all the magazines again ?
revise the magazines again, you don't need to read PT
your volume is very low , do something about it.
How many times I have to revise monthly mazine sir....
2-3 times
Ok sir
Sir maine abhi tak current affairs nahi kiya hai mai 1 saal ka current kaise karu
Go for yearly current affairs compilations (PT365)
Helpful!! Thank you Sir😇
Sir, will Drishti IAS magazine good? In my place, we only got Drishti magazine
It's good - no issues
Very nice video !
Thank you!
