This was absolutely amazing. Anakin realizing that his kids cared more about Maul then him had to have hit hard. Maul had took Qui-Gon from Anakin too. He watched Maul take Satine from Kenobi during the Clone Wars. He viewed Maul as evil. So to see him turned to the light side, training both of his children, who admired this man more than himself, just had to have shown him how far he has fallen. This has been my favorite What If so far. The dynamic between Kenobi and Maul has always been one of my favorite things about Star Wars.
I'm so glad you enjoyed! I was really hoping that's how that moment would be taken, between Maul & the twins with Anakin seeing it from his peripherals!

Was also in The Clone Wars, and a short appearance at the end of Solo.
And the events on Mandalore are cannon, in The Clone Wars.
Also want to say, with zero disrespect meant, Maul's supposed death is an essy way to spot a Casual. Something we all were at some point. Check out The Clone Wars, and Rebels. If you liked the PT, you'll enjoy them, and they add a lot to the PT, and the OT, which makes them even more fun to rewstch. Season one of Rebels feels a little slow, but picks up on season 2.
I also thought Maul was dead after TPM. Seeing him in TCW, then in Rebels was a bit of a holy **** moment, but man was I happy to see his return And his final scene was worthy of the character.
He and Kenobi are my favorite characters of the SWU.

I don't think I've ever cried that much over 50 minutes... I don't know how you keep pulling off stories each more beautiful than the other, thank you for this ! Even if it was intentionally emotional, and as much as I imagined a Maul's redemption arc, as with every other potential character, your delivery is very poetic and peaceful. Got me too. 😢😂. You should have given Maul the chance to return as a Force Ghost, the same as Anakin and Ben Kenobi. A final scene could show five Force Ghosts, including a young Maul without tattoos or the yellow eyes of the Sith and sporting a jubilant smile, next to a young Obi-Wan at the time he and Maul first crossed blades, looking to each other and laughing joyously next to a young Anakin Skywalker, he also chuckling next to a smiling Qui-Gon Jinn, and Yoda who looks at all of them and nods sagely with a mischievous grin.

I havn't seen everything yet, but i find this idea poetic, one master corrupted the other's apprentice, brought him to the darkness, and one master redeemed the apprentice from the dark and gave him a chance to feel the light.

That sounds like a great idea! Especially if Talzin received a vision about the future. Mother Talzin and Mual would eventually end up uniting all of Dathomir against the CIS and Palpatine.

I always thought of maul as a child. His childhood was so messed up that he never matured properly. His story was so sad and he may have been evil, but evil isn’t birthed it is taught

Maul's redemption journey maybe he could be there for Ezra in a new light this time around with balance instead of darkness

Video game series " Soul Reaver."
They had Time Temples that send you to different locations on the game map along with important moments in time.
b.) Sith cultist that hide amougn cartel smugglers. They have visions of other timelines and phase into other realities for historic locations to loot relics of bygone eras for profit. Temple has a 3,000year history and for table top rpg it requires a Force point and 1d20 roll to active.
You can't change your past, only another You present.
c.) Star Trek, temporal space rifts worm holes sending ship into different parts of time, creating alternate timelines or different realities.
Vader is chasing the Falcon and with multiple Force points being spent with the single thought of, " Wanting to be where all of this just started."
They end up just in time for the Pod Race or a few days before Anakin's mom died. Can Vader save his mom in time, or only to see her die again for a second time ?
Same reality or different reality, does Vader feel his memories shift within his mind seeing himself viewing his future self.
What happen if Vader force chokes Palpatine during Palpatine vs Mace office battle ?
Does the timeline reset itself, or has Vader became displace in time ?
Was it all a vision dream within the ritual space ?
d.) Sith cultist smugglers trade force crystals imbue with a given force power skill as currency and as Cursed items to gift people with.
I played with WotC 3.5e D&D/Star Wars, .. I didn't like Saga edition.
e.) Problem with falling into the Darkside, we up it up with Ravenloft path of the darklord cause it promotes better story telling.
What is the difference from Anakin/Vader and Marvel comic Frank Castle/Punisher ?
Here is the twist, after reading, watching, and debating RotS, Palpatine really did not Need Anakin for his grand plan at all. And their was nothing he could have done to stop Palpatine.
If Anakin didn't show up, Palpatine done after he killed Windu would video call Anakin and force choke him in place. Issue order 66 and tell Anakin to say good bye to his wife. And in Legends Anakin had the Force Scream ability which would have EMP the area.

Honestly this episode made me emotional. Everything that happened between Ben and Maul on Tattooine got me and Maul being accepted into the Force with Ben and Anakin really hit hard. Especially since knowing Maul’s story, easily one of my favorite “What if” scenario

An epic alternate outcome. I don't have the words to describe this. I had to listen to it 3 times so I can envision in in my head as an audience member in a theater. THIS WOULD HAVE WORKED. Maul's path of vengeance evolving to a path of redemption. Love it.
This is amazing! Watching Maul's development and tragic yet bitersweet ending made me feel emotional. I love his and Obi-Wan's brotherhood and the latter's death almost made me emotional. I felt bad for Anakin realizing his children cares more about Maul, but he has ultimately chosen darkness, despite how he was groomed by Sidious since the age of nine and his tragic backstory.
This legitimately was a realistic and emotionally satisfying scenario. Well done, thanks for making this!

This was really good. Its one of the two scenarios I've always pondered, those being either Maul or Dooku surviving to go on to meet Luke and help defeat Sidious. Maul is certainly easier to pull this off with since he's younger and outlived Dooku. The only way I can see Dooku living to that point is something like him entering a force trance before Anakin beheads him and playing the long odds that a secret medical droids team he has on standby might successfully evacuate his body to a secret base, reattach his head (His force trance having preserved brain function, then he remains in stasis a few years, planning to wake later and ambush Sidious only to meet Luke and find redemption.
I don't write comments very often, but this was one of the most amazing stories I have ever heard. The Obi Wan and Maul story was already great, but this took it to an whole new level. Thank you for this story!

Love these, props to the writers for doing such an amazing job! Also how long do these take to make from scripting, reading, editing, etc?
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoy! It depends on the day, but scripting can take me around 3-8 hours (if it flows for me or not / length of the vid). Recording is averagely 5-8 minutes longer than the released version (cutting out slip ups & such) and then the edit is usually double/triple the length of the video. Only thing not done by me is the thumbnails, artists are always linked in the description if you want to see their other work! :)

I am all too familiar with this process lol. I was an executive producer for my high school’s morning announcements crew so I was doing this kind of thing all the time. Not necessarily story telling but the making of the content.
I got off topic lol. Yeah, I definitely appreciate all the time and effort that goes into these things and I will definitely check out some of the stuff from the artists. Again, I love these, please continue to make these as long as you want and keep up the good work.

If ever there was a villain that deserved more it was Maul. It’s stories like these that show just how great of a redemption story he could have had. As one of my favorite characters I always enjoy seeing when he gets some kind of a happy ending

Dude I loved it... it really touched me how Maul and Obi Wan were plotted! I liked Maul and that you give him the possibillity to make peace with himself is something that i ever dreamed of through clone wars...
I always wondered what would happen if Obi Wan didn't kill Maul there. It's probably one of the most interesting "What Ifs" scenarios Star Wars has, at least that hasn't been done in a thousand verses by a thousand voices.

You never fail to surprise or entertain. You have given us yet another damned good video to enjoy. One question though does Anakin still become a force ghost. Because I know it'd be corny but yoda, kanobi, maul, qui - gon and anakin as force ghosts shoulder to shoulder looking at the skywalker twins would be so cool. I have a story suggestion for you, I think it would be a very interesting one considering that I haven’t seen anyone else try out this idea. What if Biggs Darklighter wasn’t lost during the trench run to destroy the first Death Star? How would this affect Luke Skywalker’s life proper, would he be his supporting co-star in his journey to becoming a Jedi Knight?
