Hi David. To be honest, I can't tell you precisely. The Slab will be covered, for sure, and you might get a bit of water in the third arch, but I couldn't say confidently "1m correlates to X or Y" because the Dunnabridge guage (from which my arbitrary 1m was drawn) is so far from Newbridge. Several side-streams to impact the visual level. But hopefully that's a least some frame of reference for you. It's a great level, either way!
Such a good vibe to this footage…love the Dart social scene!
Thanks man. Yeah, it's a great bunch of folks!
Super video. The pure joy of kayaking on display.
Thanks Allen. It was a fun day, for sure!
Nice to see someone in a slice boat 😊
Different boats for different folks! No hate here! But the slices make it more fun.
Nice love the raw footage!
Thanks Jake. Sorry to miss you, but hopefully catch you next time you're down here/I'm in Wales!
Love it
Glad to hear that!
Loving the wooden paddle where did it come from ?
It's a RivrStyx paddle, made by Jim Snyder in the USA. Phenomenal craftsmanship!
Quite some flow!
It's a decent level, for sure!
Quality tail spin inbetween lucky tor rapids
My new favourite move. Hoping to get it dialled for the double rotation to then land perfectly on the pile of the hole on exit!
What is model of your paddle?
It's a RivrStyx custom one, made by Jim Snyder over in the USA.
Hi there, can you tell me what 1m looks like with respect to the ledge coverage and third arch please?

@@MatthewBrookKayaking thanks mate
For the uninitiated, is 1 metre high or low for the Dart?
Excellent question. This is a healthy medium flow - still paddling mostly low-water lines, but with a decent amount of juice in it!
