    With Bulgarian Split Squats, there are many different little variations/tweaks that people successfully implement (such as changing the angle of the front leg to bias different musculature/take pressure off certain joints) But this right here is how I do a standard Bulgarian Split Squat
    Also, try experimenting with lower foot elevations on the back leg. It can really help people maintain balance and therefore, increase the effectiveness of the exercise. Often I will utilize an elevation of just 6 to 8 inches or so. Give it a shot ✊🏼 hope this helps

      This exercise is too much Risk vs Reward. I know many people who have injured their Groin muscle doing that. Just do squats.

      Could you imagine him reading your comment and saying; “yeah, he’s right” and doesn’t go through with the purchase of steroids? Me neither.
      I’m sure he knows all the pros and cons of steroid use. And I too, hope he doesn’t use them not for the sake of his lifespan but because he doesn’t need to. If he’s using any sort of PED’s then oh well. At least he’s not overdoing it.

    i usually carry just one dumbell on the side of the leg im doing, with my opposite arm kind of “holding my core”. it sounds stupid but its so much easier for me to balance its actually crazy, for people who cant do both dumbells i suggest one heavy dumbell instead

      You may have imbalances in your hip and using the single dumbbell to shift it off the imbalance

      I do them this way too, I have slight balance issues because of a neurological problem I had last year and I find it more manageable with just one dumbbell. Hopefully it continues to improve.

    I just did these for the first time on Saturday! I’m not going to lie…. This felt like the single most amazing leg workout I’ve ever done. My knees, Achilles, everything feels SO F******* GOOD today. Heck, I felt better the next day. Amazing, I’m keeping these on every leg day. Really hit the top of my quad, and just great rehab too.
    I’m going to use this form and really dial it in. 💪💪💪

    The difference if you lean foward you will target more on the glutes if you them with chest up and without leaning foward you will target the quads

      Yeah I'd argue this is the best glute exercise. Deadlifts are good. But this exercise fired up my glutes like no other.

    This explanation is awesome. Applied this setup twice this week and it was a major improvement. In the video, you forget to mention the massive stretch when placing the knee on the ground and pushing hips forward. I ended up having to put my toes on the platform rather than the bend of the foot.

    Perfect!! I stopped doing back squats and front as i got older with back problems, these blew my legs out nicely, i do these and sissy squats also throw in 50-60 lunges to finish off

    Glad you said hip and shin angle.
    If your hip and torso are at the same angle the quad and glutes are targeted. If your shin angle is greater than your hip angle your quads are the main target.
