I have a fan theory of my own. I think Cassandra Nova is going to build her own team of pruned X-Men villain variants and that's going to end up being the big bad fight
Yeah I’m wondering if she was pruned and became too powerful and is just building an army up and clogging the void up because she found a way to control Alioth.

Here's my theory: the Fox Xmen universe got pruned (either before Loki, or when Dox pruned a bunch), but Cassandra got out by controlling the squad of TVA agents sent to do it. I think thats the group that knocks on his door (they power up the pruning sticks, and tried to grab him before he gets pulled through the portal. The agent looks _surprised_ he's left holding a wig)
And the only ones that can stop Cassandra are those specific Xmen for whatever reason. But between the Void gangs, Alioth, the controlled TVA agents, and the fact that everyone in the void hates the TVA, they keep getting killed when they try to get them out. So they get the guy who cant die, has experience with variants, and has a better chance to get them to listen and bring them back to stop her in the 616.
Doctor Manhattan Enters the Marvel Universe.
This take sounds solid. The TVA vs itself with one side controlled by the true enemy (Cassandra Nova, or whoever it turns out to be) and the other side enlisting durable heroes with telepathic resistance (i.e., Deadpool and Wolverine) would be a neat enough premise to make a movie.
It also fits enough with Benny's take, but is different enough through scaling back on the hyperbole and ridiculousness of Wade being "sent to kill a universe".
While, yes, Wade is prone to being shown accomplishing ridiculous feats, I think it's not narratives fulfilling to send a guy who heals and is great with swords and guns after an entire universe. It's neater to point him at one or more targets within one or more universes.
I'm personally not sold this is Cassandra Nova necessarily but will not be surprised if it is; and as stories go, your structure is neat enough for DP's shenanigans to bring the fun and zany into.

so far it feels like Loki w/ be the stand in for Molecule man in the secret wars storyline. He is basically the guy in the center in the box keeping it all together for everyone.

First, its called deadpool and wolverine, which means hes only looking for wolverines, and ends up with the already pruned properties, making him the liferaft/beacon to the marvel universe. Everyone missed the birthday scene is a direct reference from the move from the ultimate universe

I've read rumors that the void area is supposed to be a prototype Battle World. I think it would be cool if the TVA is basically screwing over Deadpool. They sent him to bring Wolverine to Battle World where they are forcing characters from the Fox Universe to fight in a Battle Royale, winner gets to join the MCU. Meaning that the characters in this Battle World Void are those from the X-men timeline that were deleted in Days of Future Past, as well as characters from Fantastic Four, Fan4stic, and both Hulk movies, maybe even Nick Cage's Ghost Rider.
The TVA sends Deadpool to retrieve Wolverine because Wolverine is responsible for deleting the pre Days of Future Past timeline but they need another regenerator to be able to catch him. It was Wolverine's actions in Days of Future Past that resulted in Pyro being sent to the void since his timeline no longer exists.
Deadpool manages to bring Wolverine to this void Battle World and is immediately betrayed by the TVA. Hence why he is shown fighting them for most of the trailer.
Under this premise, what cameos would be cool to have? Honestly? I would love to see Chris Evans come back, his scene is built up as if it's Captain America but it turns out it's Johnny Storm.
Another thing that I think would be funny would be cameos from the Agents of Shield, and the Inhumans. In fact, bringing back the Inhumans for a joke about how much of a failure their show was would be hilarious, but they kind of already did it with Black Bolt in Multiverse of Madness.
That also reminds me of Deadpool: Killustrated. When Deadpool and Frankenstein team up to kill all the versions of Frankenstein.

Totally likely that's Cassandra Nova given Negasonic Teenage Warhead is a pretty deep cut from Morrison's run on New X-Men. Also in the 90s there was a storyline where Loki was Deadpools dad and Wade got cursed with the face of "Thom" Cruise. He couldn't burn it off or anything.

2 pointers I'd refine Benny's theory with are that "killing the Fox universe" (or any for that matter) isn't the best thing for a movie to center behind a dude with healing, guns and blades (and another guy with healing and blades).
In adapting DPKtMU, it is more believable and within scope of their abilities that they're sent after a person, persons or object that is integral to someone else's goal. Now, that person or object would be what makes sens as able to kill or save a universe by triggering something that has universal impact; or is a threat to the agency and or timeline by being allowed to exist, travel across timelines, etc.
Being sent after Cassandra (and minions) makes sense, a divided TVA makes sense, and being forced into a situation that comes down to the Fox universe ending (and losing Vanessa and his friends) or being forever separated from them makes sense.
As for the Vanessa thing: yeah, that's not them in happy bliss. The 'sad clown' bit looks to already be in effect. He got with her and now something seems to have soured the relationship (it's implied by the way they interact in the trailer, at least). Inability to conceive, or the loss of a child would fit.
As for the outcomes, I hope they do visit more than one mutant populated universes, but if they do I hope they don't wholesale bring over mutants. I still hope there's some greater mystery to explore in the MCU itself as to there being more mutants than we've seen, but with a good reason why not prevalent (e.g., most abducted by the Shi'Ar, Krakoa, a dimensional entity like Shadow King, or even simply in Weapon X storage as an offshoot to the Winter Soldier program, as secret weapons).
If DP does feature the likes of Cap, Hulk or Tony, I'm pretty sure it'd be accomplished through old footage though, with his changes being made to something explainable without them filming in DP3 per se. Of course, one or two peripheral or more available characters may show up to seal the difference made to the timeline though (if any), and Dr. Strange and/or Wong would make sense.

My theory is the bald person in the trailer isn’t Cassandra and the TVA is a red herring. The bald person is Mojo, just in an onscreen adaptation. Think about it, the TVA monitors are different than the ones in the preview. Also, despite dying in DP 2, Shatter Star is in the preview and he’s from Mojo World, he says so in Deadpool 2!
Instead of the brown wig in the beginning. They should have had him in the black afro and mustache before the TVA takes him. It seems like a short scene before they do, so give a throwback to his best wig disguise.

I feel super sure that Patch is Daniel Radcliffe, just feel like you can see it from the posture, it for sure isn’t Hugh Jackman! If it was Hugh I feel like we would’ve just got an eye patch tease on him and our question would be “omg is that patch” but from what we saw we already know it’s patch but by showing him from behind we now don’t know who the actor is.

I think It's Just going to be a Loki's parody (Disney+ series) like the Scary Movies because they have to explain in a easy way everything that's happening. Most People won't Watch Loki (only fans) so marvel have to make something for general audience to catch up.

It's already basically confirmed that Cassandra Nova is the villain. Almost all the breakdowns of this trailer pointed this out.
I like a lot of the theories. I'm interested in what they will do. It would be a cool idea to have a Spiderman cameo. It was another team up a lot of people waited for in the comics. Plus I think it would redeem Tom but they could use anyone.

The theory that Cassandra Nova being the main antagonist by using the TVA to send Deadpool to prune out various threads of the FOX universe is actually an amazing theory. I just hope that not all of the FOX universe gets pruned since it would take away from the potential Avengers vs X-Men storyline for Avengers Secret Wars.

Did anyone see the theory that Deadpool is going to find himself in the intro to Age of Ultron? Maybe he has a checklist of Fox-Verse characters to prune and gets told to "kill Quicksilver" and gets the wrong idea.
If they do the time jump for the fantastic 4 it would make sense cause that's how cap got his life time travel

I have a theory that Deadpool is being tricked by someone who is working at that who disagrees with Loki and are using him to mess up the order he set up creating events leading into secret wars
Touching on bigger commentry about the appeal of the Fantastic Four, one of my wishlist story plots (can't call it a theory because I in no way thought it's what the MCU would do, btw) was that the FF get introduced WITH a team of X-Men in a way that could incorporate Deadpool shenanigans.
Basically a futuristic world (where the FF originates), and a coldwar era world (where mutants originate) are starting to have an Incursion (i.e., the Earths are coming into the same dimensional space and the cascade will destroy the entire universe). A team of X-Men, Brotherhood and the FF members are all between the dimensional space creating a device that would prevent the Incursion but Deadpool fighting Doom 2099 crashes the party and damage the device.
After being rescued by Dr. Strange who is also combatting Incursions with Clea, they all end up in the MCU. Aspects of that could be adapted, but it helps FF movies having a mutant presence to actually be more appealing.
The leaked set photos and footage were from location shoots. Nothing was leaked from the studio shoots so there's still potential for so many other cameos that haven't leaked...
- Daniel Radcliffe as Wolverine? Maybe. Maybe Henry Cavill - who recently accepted a Marvel role - who knows?
- Chris Evans as Captain America? Maybe. Or maybe he'll return as Human Torch.
- Jennifer Garner is basically confirmed as Elektra. So we could get other retro cameos like Wesley Snipes as Blade.
- Taylor Swift as Lady Deadpool. Fuck it, I don't know.
I hope we see the Fox logo get pruned and I hope we see Deadpool as every character in the MCU opening montage

Deadpool and Wolverine fight and end up breaking that remote thing that takes them to different universes. This ends up sending them to that xmen universe at the end of The Marvels. Here Logan meets an adult Laura Kinney, the new Wolverine. Deadpool makes a joke and someone says too bad this guy survived that incursion.

I have a theory, Cable was a retired TVA agent that was also a mutant and was dropped off into what we know as his world to live out his life. That would explain his time travel device, Cable's particular job was dealing with mutants for the TVA. Wade earns the attention of the TVA when he goes universe hopping at the end of Deadpool 2 and is recruited to take over for Cable due to his retirement. The Wolverine that Huge plays is the one that Deadpool actually talks to during that montage (you know the one where he tells him your old pal Wade is going to ask you to pick up the claws again?) The TVA ends up having to prune all these timelines because of Wade but they want Wade to recruit Wolverine to help him stop the incursions he caused from his time jumping shenanigans at the end of Deadpool 2.
While initially failing to recruit a couple of Wolverine's (Patch for example) he succeeds when he finding the main FOX universe Wolverine, who remembers Wade talking to him at the end of X-Men Origins Wolverine from Deadpool 2. The TVA is revealed to be the FOX branch of the TVA and are trying to kill the FOX universe so their office can merge with the MCU TVA. They used Wade to capture and prune the FOX universe so they can participate in a battle royale (make an obvious Fortnite joke with it even, have Wade jump out of a flying bus and have that being how the pruned arrive) with the winners joining them in the MCU timeline. They used Wade to go after Logan as Logan's time traveling shenanigan's in Days of Future Past was the first major blip in the timelines. Wolverine and Deadpool fight but stop both realizing that they are the enemy in the eyes of the FOX universe. They recruit a couple to join their side and attack Cassandra, who is building up her own army to storm the TVA and sacred timeline during the Age of Ultron events. Despite being betrayed, Deadpool is still loyal to the TVA and wants to join the MCU as Marvel Jesus and wants to help The Avengers, mentioning he was fond of watching Captain America and greatly respects him(match the comics where Deadpool idolizes Cap.)
Deadpool and Wolverine along with their team members win and learn that they are on a world called Battleworld, where survivors of dead universes go to fight for the right to go to the Sacred Timeline. Loki appears and informs them of an ongoing Incursion, the MCU and the Sony universe are on a collision course and it can't be stopped and Loki wants Logan and Wade to find a few people before then, showing them pictures of Andrew and Tobey's Spiderman and Tom Hardy's Venom saying they will need their help in the future when the Incursion happens. Logan asks what does he mean Loki gives them a portal and tells them to go find Tobey first looking off into the timelines, seeing the new threat for the final 2 Avenger's films.
The next Avengers film will end with the MCU and Sony-verse Incursion happening and the TVA is forced to prune them all. Battleworld is transformed into a mash up of all 3 universes and either Dr. Doom or Beyonder will be unveiled as the ultimate Villain.

I don't think they are doing Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe. I think they are doing Deadpool Kills Deadpool.
DKtMU is book 1 of 3 in the Deadpool Killogy. DKD is book 3. Book 1 creates evil deadpool, aka "dreadpool". DKD is when OUR deadpool, the GOOD GUY kills evil Dreadpool. I 1000% believe we are going to get dreadpool as a separate character and is why wolverine wants to kill our deadpool. Because he confused our deadpool for the other guy. It's also why the TVA get involved. They are repeating the plot of loki. A variant is giving you problems? Recruit another variant of the same person to deal with that problem. The TVA now only prunes multiversal threats, like a Kang or like a Dreadpool.
Starting it with book 3 gets us our happy ending, doesn't ruin the character, kills off the fox universe, gives us our big bad villain. . . but most of all, is a GREAT way to introduce the other 2 voices into our deadpools head since dreadpool was created from that of an evil 3rd voice.

It seemed to me that they were implying the X-Men would be joining through some sort of incursion from a different universe instead of the actual FOX one.

My theory is what Deadpool said on the trailer saying that his "Marvel Jesus." So when they prune a universe that needed to be terminated, I believe he will not kill all the variants probably he might invite every variant to join his X-Force squad.

I think theyll "Forest Gump" into scenes from the old Marvel movies. In issue 11 or 12 from the original 90 ongoing comic they did this and had Deadpool photoshopped into an old issue of Amazing Spiderman from the 60s (issue came out around the same time Forest Gump did). I don't necessarily want this...I don't want a ton of MCU stuff in Deadpool. But I trust Reynolds

Initially, I would have said the big bad for this movie was gonna be the other Deadpool from Wolverine Origins, who I believe was also played by Ryan Reynolds? Post credits scene shows that one surviving and to my knowledge, isn't the same as this one given that one ended up with an amalgamation of powers in the movie. (Makes me think of Cell).
It would be interesting to see an obscure villain pop up, though I still wouldn't put it past them to get meta and repeat a joke of killing a role Ryan Reynolds played.

The Marvels directly tied into Ms. Marvel and WandaVision directly tied into Multiverse of Madness as did What If. So I'm not sure why you think they're not doing that when they very clearly are.
Pretty sure the Cassandra nova theory is a stretch it's probably gonna be more simple than you think. Remember they have tried more complex stories in the past few movies and the majority of people don't like it.
Honestly if Marvel doesn’t go with the Deadpool kills the Marvel universe/fox verse storyline it will be a huge miss opportunity and not only do I think he will be killing the fox verse. I think this is the movie that will be rebooting the MCU entirely.
