Came here after binge watching South Africa's Top Billing...these interiors are underwhelming for luxury homes to be honest.

@hellen kiragu Exactly my sentiments. I also don't like the DOWNSTAIRS LAYOUT. ..makes it easy for the maid to eaves drop on the conversations in the living room. The wall and breakfast bar should be removed to create a free flowing area between the kitchen and dining area. Also The scullery wall should also be removed to expand the kichen. A wall should be built running from where the TOILET DOOR is to seal off the kitchen from the living room Alafu a KICHEN ISLAND should be built in the middle of the enlargened kitchen complete with a breakfast bar where people can chill to have breakfast or whilst doing meal prep or chatting to whover is cooking. Alafu cupboards/storage space should be built where the scullery was.
Upstairs...the walk in wardrobe is too narrow. Kama hakuna space, they should have used good quality sliding doors instead of doors that open out.

@Liltoi Makena well said! The camera person was rubbish. S/he should have panned around so that we could amongst other things see the Master bedroom and the Terrace. Instead the focus was kept on the two ladies for than necessary, only to be shown glimpses of said spaces. Bure kabisa!

Sorry but the staging is dull and uninviting! The kitchen is hideous with those red out-of-place upper cabinets. Overall the house looks beautiful on the outside in a captivating environment but the presentation is wanting!
I agree. The staging was completely unappealing, with beddings half-fitting etc. Could do well with professional staging group (probably not yet available in Kenya). By Kenyan standards, this is not bad, rooms very spacious. No garage though despite having the space. Also for a four bedroom house, nothing better than a walk-in closet instead of the "Kenyan wardrobe" that is never big enough. I wish builder had incorporated walk-in closets in all rooms and better kitchen cabinetry. At 24 million shillings ($240,000) not bad at all. The outside amenities and greenery is very impressive.

I think show houses try to suit a wide variety of people so they can sell more therefore don't go all in with a particular theme and instead try to make it okay enough for most ... But the house itself is great. And with a bit of money, plus a great interior design team, you could make an amazing home out of this.
I felt so too,for a house going for 24m the staging should have been given a little more.

Kenyan Real Estate is overpriced. I saw a gorgeous modern 4 bed property in Kyalami (South Africa) fir Ksh 40,000,000. In Kenya, 40,000,000 will get you some dilapidated colonial mansion with higgly piggly rooms and dated decor...the type of joint you have to tear down to the ground so that you can build a more modern airy, filled with.light house.
The service fee makes it feel like a rental....
