      My pleasure!!! Check the other videos in this series so you can compare to 2other great guitars in the same price range. Good luck grabbing your new axe!

    Very good, thorough review. Thank you! One thing I ALWAYS consider when choosing a guitar is how it feels. If the feel isn't right and is uncomfortable in some way, then it doesn't matter what it is made of or comes with.

      Thank you and my pleasure!! 100%. That's why I made this series of videos. It's all about the feel. Without that, the guitar will rarely get played. Thanks for watching!

    Can you tune the Ibanez to standard tuning? I’ve asked Ibanez and Best In Music (where I preordered the guitar) and both said yes. Guitar Center told me if I try I’ll mess up the neck. I just need to know if I should cancel my purchase. Yeah, I do plan on drop tuning as I’m learning metal, but it’s super important this thing works in standard as well.

    • @LonelyRocker

      You can tune it to whatever you want. No harm to the neck with anything reasonable. You tune it just like any guitar. I've been trying to collaborate with Evertune to clarify the messaging about the bridge and how it affects tuning. Been a slow go but hoping I can get something together some time...

      @@LonelyRocker Good to know! I wouldn’t be tuning up any higher than standard. I just realized though it isn’t tuned to drop D but D standard so I can keep it low and use a capo for most of everything else. Now just have to wait till the estimated ship date of March :’(

    Have you looked at the Framus Stormbender (the Devin Townsend designed guitar) Fishman, Evertune and an incredible shape / look.

      I would LOVE to try that!! It's on my list. I would definitely cover that if I could get my hands on one....

    Hey dan! Great vid! Im curious on how you use the evertune bridge to record tracks and the dynamics of rhythm and lead guitar bevuase it allows different stlyes of playing. For example, i play using a floyd rose, and i would play waayy different with something thats a hard tail

    • @LonelyRocker
      @LonelyRocker  Год назад +1

      Thanks!! I play very differently whether I have a hard tail or a floating bridge. That's why it's great to have both if you can. I sometimes reach for a hard tail guitar because it forces me to think differently when I solo. When I have the whammy bar I often grab it because it's there and for no other reason. the Evertune is a completely different thing. I'm hoping to dive deeper into Everune in a future video. I'm working on it!

    Can you review the RG1270/1220 series? They have monster specs for the price - stainless steel frets, edge tremolo, neck through etc

    • @LonelyRocker
      @LonelyRocker  Год назад +1

      Funny. I tried the RGT1221PB before I did this series. I mentioned it in the first video of this series. And I HATED it!!! Did nothing for me. I'm sure we'll be seeing more guitar reviews on this channel...

      @@LonelyRocker Why so? Because of the wizard neck profile? pickups? Or something entirely else? Im actually on the verge buying one of them, but now idk

      @@mordudorro3157 I urge you to play it and make sure it's the guitar for you. That was the point of this series. I saw that guitar online and fell in love with it. When I played it, it just wasn't right for me. It was SO light and I didn't like the material on the neck. Doesn't mean you won't like it. It's a very personal thing.

      @@LonelyRocker Thanks for the reply. It seems perfect on paper, because it has all the features I crave for. However theres no telling how the guitar really feels and plays for me so you are right, need to try it out first.
