I'm always amazed when I meet somebody who either doesn't know who the Goo Goo Dolls are, or who doesn't like their music. They're missing out on one hell of an awesome musical experience. And all the members are amazing!
No, I meant what I said. Don’t be presumptuous. Yes, John and Robby are awesome but those musicians who play with them really make things happen. Their drummer here, Mike Malinin, had been with them for a long time. Don’t ever downplay the importance of a good group of supporting musicians; I have no doubt they give their backup band credit, and fans should too. It shouldn’t matter how long they’ve played for the group.
