- The U.S. issued a level three travel advisory for Jamaica, but NewsNation travel editor Peter Greenberg says that doesn't mean Americans shouldn't travel there. My question is when is the US going to issue a travel advisory level 4 for the USA?
USA is level 5, the thing is that still couldn't prevent migrants and tourists from coming. It's level 5 due to shootings, domestic violence, lack of public safety, lack of safety shelter, bad weathers and natural disasters including floods, avalanche, earthquakes, sinkholes, volcanoes, blizzards, tornadoes, hurricanes, homeless, alligators, and bear attacks. Also thousands of scammers everywhere, too many vehicular homicide, several raping, kidnapping, stalking, assault, public endangerment, shoplifting, drug dealing, street racing, street fighting, mortal kombating, child predators, woman predators, men predators, trans predators, slave labors, home invasions, carjacking, car stealing, road rage, property damage, etc.
I am wondering the same thing they have a nerve. JamIca is not targeting schools and churches
Jamaica should issue their own advisory against America. Never in history have any country issue an advisory against its own country
They should issue the same travel warnings for the U.S. because of the mass shootings.

What a crock of shit. I just got back from Jamaica on Monday and it was incredible. I felt nothing but safe! Meanwhile, my neighbours house got shot up a few weeks ago here in AMERICA. I also heard recently that Jamaicans are angry in some love locations because their beach and boating (fishing) access have been taken away completely because of resorts. Of course, the corrupt govt does not protect the locals to reserve segments for them. Cut off their income and chaos starts.

I have a cruise leaving from New Orleans next Thursday, and heading to Jamaica as one of my stops.
Be careful and only go on bus trips. Do not walk around alone. You won’t go 100 feet past the immigration gates and you will either get robbed or offered drugs

There was a survey about a month ago that shows that Jamaica is in the same league as a country like New Zealand when it comes to tourist safety. And I'm sure you wouldn't see that in any mainstream media. The advisory is for other countries as well .but interestingly, they are not featured in the news like Jamaica . Good old racist US media

I took a carnival cruise. We rented a van with a driver. He said the same thing. Dunns was not all that. He took us to the back of the falls. And we looked around and their was a small park across from there. We started to leave. And the locals a few that were there. Wanted us to leave a tip for them. I still think about this to this day. Jamaica has always been sketchy. For 30 years I have always been warned about the place. The one time I tried to go, cruise passengers were not allowed off the ship due to riots in port. It’s paradise ruined by its inhabitants.

I went in 2003 and at that time it was safe to go outside the resort but on scheduled shopping trips and concerts, bus trips only with Chaperones from the resort. Jamaica has always been the most deadly island in the caribbean. But the natives will only rob a visitor if they are starving. However you can get caught in the crossfire when you go to deadly neighborhoods.
