Thanks for another great video! I'm glad that you show us the more affordable brands. I think a lot of people are against them because of a lot of allergy fear mongering with HEMA products. The thing is, even a lot of the expensive brands have it, and it's not the only component that has the potential for allergies either. Proper application and clean up is the best way to reduce the risk. Anyways, great video and very cute set ❤
I agree! It's like I said in this video, I'm not sure that all of them, for the most part, aren't made in the same factories, just with different labels so they can charge more... I've used a lot of these brands for years and years and haven't developed an allergy or had anyone else develop one either. A lot of people think because something says HEMA free and is more expensive means they won't have an allergy but HEMA is usually replaced with HPMA and you know what is the second leading cause of nail allergies.... HPMA lol. I'm about saving money and these products produce the same results as the more expensive brands and you are very right, proper handling can be the best way to avoid an allergy. BUT I was thinking... if it doesn't work... how could I get it to where I could use this spray with acrylic and polygel... I have an idea in my mind that might just work. I have to play around with it to see if it will actually work. But I will absolutely keep you posted on if it works with polygel. The pink ones turned out wayyyy better than the orange ones, and that's just because I had a better idea of how the airbrush gel worked. Airbrush is fun once you get the hang of it but the pat gels are just as much fun and give the same affect as an airbrush if you decide you don't want to try out an airbrush yet. I use pat paint gels a lot for an airbrushed and ombre look. I appreciate you so much. I hope your day is as beautiful as you are! Xoxox.

I woukd say the best way would be to break the seal first just a lil bit them add your spray so it can seep down into the Inside then lift the nail might be better an faster for ya.
It's so weird because it actually works better to spray the nail first. Wait a few seconds and then go in at the seal lift a little and spray again. I don't know what kind of sorcery is in this stuff to make it work like it does. But I was thinking the same way as you. Break the seal first because that is what makes sense to me, too. But it actually does help dissolve it and makes breaking the seal super easy to spray it first, lol. Every single time I use this, it blows my mind, haha. You are amazing, Sugar, and I love you so much!

Gorgeous Nails ❤ I want to say something about the magnets, I also have different sizes of nailbeds and I use the magnets in another way 😊 my magnets are on the other side, my magnets are in the direction to the tip end, I don't messure from the end of the finger. What about the over spray on your skin though?? 🤔 question: would it be better after you spray the color to then clean off round the skin then put in the lamp to cure? That way your not still curing gel on your skin? I actually normally use skin covers, but yes, you absolutely would want to wipe it off before you cure. I was in a hurry redoing these and forgot about my skin covers and just went with it, lol.

@@HaleyDawn85 Ooh don't be sorry, I love trying stuff out! I'm looking forward to seeing your thoughts on the Una Gella nails, too! My normal removal process is the "standard" clip off everything down to the nail growth, e-file off the bulk, soak off the rest with acetone pads. I don't really bother to save charms since they are usually cheap to start with. I have also used the Saviland Gel Polish Gel Remover which paints on like a gel polish itself (but it's a thick paste) and although it's meant for just polish and not acrylic tips it actually works pretty well on the tips, too. Then I do my cuticle care and hot oil soak (I think of it as spa day for my cuticles). If I turn right around and put on a new set I use acetone to dehydrate the surface first, otherwise by the next day they are usually dry enough that normal prep is fine. :D

I either have to have my natural nails super super short or extensions long. It's weird because I can't function with medium length nails lol. What oil do you use for your soaks? @@HaleyDawn85 Ha! I can't do the long nails, myself, but I like medium length or maybe just shy of that! I just use jojoba oil for the oil soak, but sunflower, grapeseed, or even olive oil would work. 30 seconds in the microwave, dip hand in for 5-10, rewarm for other hand. I've seen people do gloves with oil in them but that's too much hassle for me. I did love parrafin wax treatments but this is more of the dip method like those old Palmolive "gentle enough for your skin" commercials with Madge. :D It is definitely a great way to relax.

@grandmimm I wonder why you guys can't get it in Canada. Cause that's a huge bummer. It works so well! Yes you can use them on regular polish you would just want to wait for the polish to be 100% dry and then pop them on, do your air brush paint and then peel them off and do your lacquer top coat. 😉 I appreciate you so much! The orange was nice, but the pink did come out so much better. I have those airbrush stickers but I don’t have an airbrush. I was thinking I could paint over them with gel. I haven’t yet..have you tried that? 💜
Yes! You can do it with a sponge if you don't have an airbrush. Dab your sponge in your gel and then dab your nail with the stickers, then cure and repeat until it's covered as much as you want it to be 😀 looks just as good! I appreciate you, Linda. Xoxo ❤️

@@IceQueen96 I prefer one that goes to at least 36psi and has different psi speeds. I also like one that has the compressor separately, so I can hold the hand piece without a bunch of weight being on/in my hand. It's just more comfortable for me to be able to hold it like I would hold a pen, I find I Can get a smoother, more even spray with it being like that. Hopefully that makes sense lol. I do have one that has the compressor attached to it but my hand almost cramps with the way I have to hold it and press the trigger.
@IceQueen96 I've just noticed over the years and trying a few different ones that the way I hold the hand piece is really important, if you're not comfortable while holding it, it just makes application harder and then you'll get frustrated with it and not want to do it. I got the gellen glue remover yesterday and I took off my nails it was amazing! Didn't damage my nail beds at all.

@@HaleyDawn85 Ooh don't be sorry, I love trying stuff out! I'm looking forward to seeing your thoughts on the Una Gella nails, too! My normal removal process is the "standard" clip off everything down to the nail growth, e-file off the bulk, soak off the rest with acetone pads. I don't really bother to save charms since they are usually cheap to start with. I have also used the Saviland Gel Polish Gel Remover which paints on like a gel polish itself (but it's a thick paste) and although it's meant for just polish and not acrylic tips it actually works pretty well on the tips, too. Then I do my cuticle care and hot oil soak (I think of it as spa day for my cuticles). If I turn right around and put on a new set I use acetone to dehydrate the surface first, otherwise by the next day they are usually dry enough that normal prep is fine. :D
@@LydiaKrow I'm excited to try them, I'm sure I'll love them. I'm hoping they'll be coming out with longer lengths with the guide lines on them too, I'm a long nail girl. I either have to have my natural nails super super short or extensions long. It's weird because I can't function with medium length nails lol. What oil do you use for your soaks? @@HaleyDawn85 Ha! I can't do the long nails, myself, but I like medium length or maybe just shy of that! I just use jojoba oil for the oil soak, but sunflower, grapeseed, or even olive oil would work. 30 seconds in the microwave, dip hand in for 5-10, rewarm for other hand. I've seen people do gloves with oil in them but that's too much hassle for me. I did love parrafin wax treatments but this is more of the dip method like those old Palmolive "gentle enough for your skin" commercials with Madge. :D It is definitely a great way to relax.
Your nails turned out so cute, love love LOVE them, I can't order the glue remover from Amazon here in Canada, I was also wondering if you could use the nail stickers with regular gel polish too & if so, how would you go about doing so
@grandmimm I wonder why you guys can't get it in Canada. Cause that's a huge bummer. It works so well! Yes you can use them on regular polish you would just want to wait for the polish to be 100% dry and then pop them on, do your air brush paint and then peel them off and do your lacquer top coat. 😉 I appreciate you so much! The orange was nice, but the pink did come out so much better. I have those airbrush stickers but I don’t have an airbrush. I was thinking I could paint over them with gel. I haven’t yet..have you tried that? 💜
Yes! You can do it with a sponge if you don't have an airbrush. Dab your sponge in your gel and then dab your nail with the stickers, then cure and repeat until it's covered as much as you want it to be 😀 looks just as good! I appreciate you, Linda. Xoxo ❤️

The second ones are my favorite also! They turned out a lot better because I had a better idea of how the airbrush gels worked. I'm definitely glad I redid them. I'm using a lavinda lamp. @@IceQueen96 I prefer one that goes to at least 36psi and has different psi speeds. I also like one that has the compressor separately, so I can hold the hand piece without a bunch of weight being on/in my hand. It's just more comfortable for me to be able to hold it like I would hold a pen, I find I Can get a smoother, more even spray with it being like that. Hopefully that makes sense lol. I do have one that has the compressor attached to it but my hand almost cramps with the way I have to hold it and press the trigger.

@IceQueen96 I've just noticed over the years and trying a few different ones that the way I hold the hand piece is really important, if you're not comfortable while holding it, it just makes application harder and then you'll get frustrated with it and not want to do it.
