- Meyerland Middle School, Crockett Elementary School, and Herod Elementary School each saw demonstrators on campus. In each incident, parents said they were against the district giving school principals ultimatums: resign or be fired.
Wait, is the guy sending money from HISD to Colorado still around and presiding over these meetings?

If the principals all fail to satisfy the performance requirements set by the state, then consider offering an opportunity for improvement. Each principal must submit an executable improvement plan. HISD board then must review these plans with comments. In the finalized plan, both sides must agree and sign.
If the principal fails to deliver the set result, s/he can be fired immediately.
But the biggest challenge is if the students’ performance can save their principal’s job by passing the growth exams.
If you don't follow the prescribed plan of the state or local governments, you are out of a job. Forget about the things you learned in school. Just follow whether we tell you and you will have a job. And this is why America is not great at being great again! America is falling back. Some Americans are America's Worst Enemy!

Mike miles is this the same man being investigated for sending Texas tax dollars to 3 of his charter schools in Aurora Colorado at the tune of close to 10 million dollars? Is this why there is no money to keep these hard working employees in HISD?
Most large areas like Houston have failing schools due to the lack of investment in the community of the schools and prep that started with students even before PK and Kindergarten with home based practices...start early and often be consistent and this can be corrected with community help, nothing is gained by firing staff...

The fact that you were blaming the Democrats shows where your mind is. The Republican agenda is to get rid of libraries and to teach Republican idea of Education. Why are you getting rid of professional people that have anything to do with education? It seems like our Educational Systems are going backwards instead of forward.

It just goes to show you that some boards don't care about students and staff yes there must be the budget cuts in certain areas but overcrowding in schools hi pay of certain staff members you can't afford to cut education anymore than you already have
