Yay! Brown is amazing, it opens up so many doors and windows when you start to use it! Now I need to work on being more comfortable with blue and purple!
Rita Troch Thank you! I absolutely love fall! I'm glad this book came out before the autumn season because now I get to spend lots of time "researching" foliage as reference haha 😂
Hello Rita! As it sits, there is no bleed through for either! It's important to note that I don't saturate the paper with either one. I sort of scratch the surface with the zig writer and I don't leave it in one area for very long. With the gold ink I don't use a ton of the liquid that it's mixed with. Instead I have found that taking a bit of the liquid onto the cap then adding some of the mica from the bottom of the bottle to it afterwards gives me more mica per application for a really gold effect, which I like, and it doesn't over-saturate the paper making it weak or buckle either. I hope I explained that well enough hah! Let me know if I don't make any sense lol.
For the paint I used a liquid mica ink. It doesnt list the level of gold sadly, but in the past I have used the brand Golden Fluid Acrylic in Iridescent Gold (fine) and gotten a similar result. I hope that helps :)
Loved the tutorial I followed along with you. Thank you. Your work is beautiful

Thank you Tanya, I understand it :) !!!!
Tanya, did you use a bright fold or a deep gold for the paint on the leaves
For the paint I used a liquid mica ink. It doesnt list the level of gold sadly, but in the past I have used the brand Golden Fluid Acrylic in Iridescent Gold (fine) and gotten a similar result. I hope that helps :)
Tanya Lake, thank you for all of the info
No problem at all!
