Definitely agree with ya. But you know how the old guard views things. Their afraid of something new and ground breaking. Plus the price makes them question why they spent so much more on a machine that doesn’t match the numbers. Now I’ll agree the videos I’ve seen the Segway has a great suspension “even the sx10 wx” has a great suspension from the factory. But it’s almost 8 inches short in wheel travel compared to the pro r and 5 inches shorter then the maverick r. But time will tell what happens and I’m sure they will come around and it’s going to push the sxs market to come down in price “imo” to more affordable and obtainable prices with better features. Thanks again for the comment and I’m glad it’s not just me seeing this

Over 2700 lbs is heavy, but I'd own one even over my 2023 maverick dsrr

She’s got a bit of weight for sure. But I think all the tech they added is where a bit of the weight is coming from. But I agree we can’t wait to get ours and see how it does.

Let's be honest, Segway don't have a great dealer network and the "tech" they include in the machines don't work because it is not supported and there are hardly any accessories available. Go to a dealer and have them explain the center stack and how great it works right now, well it don't but it is coming! They released these things way too early.

I agree but to be fair they only started selling in the us a year and a half ago so I believe the dealer network will grow. As for the tech I’m not a huge fan of it in general “I just want the basics for driving” but after talking with msc it’s a good system but can be clunky “so’s our Jeep gladiators and grand Cherokee sometimes” so I’m not gonna pick on that either. The accessories are starting to come out again look at msc their working with a ton of brands to bring stuff out for em. But again it’s a new unit and I think with time they will grow.

I think they should bypass the big dealers. I had to pay that stupid 'paperwork fee' and shit when I bought my Villain (Had to go to a big city dealer because there was nobody else selling them within 400 miles). They'd rather knock the price down on the car and keep the friggin' battery insurance. Get real. Segway should shoot for affordability and use smaller dealers that are happy to sell the car + assembly/dock fees and send you down the road happy. Sell me affordable repair parts and I'm a loyal customer for the long haul.

I agree 100% and like I said their talking about mid 20’s “around 24-25k” from what I hear. For basically pro r performance with better reliability then them as well. I think it’s a win win. We are new to the villains in general but overseas they’ve been selling them for 7-8 years now. They have had amazing success and great track records over there so I can only assume they will stay the same here.

No they are going to be 2024’s but they might not get released till mid year so they might mark them as 2025’s. But the details are very scarce at the moment.
