Great interview. The AM soundtrack is ridiculously incredible. Nicholas is so talented. Maybe we could have a The Idea Of You series down the track of the real Solène just like the One Day movie to One Day Series. I would love that.
Thank you for this wonderful conversation! I read this book in August 2017 after finding Robinne down a Twitter rabbit hole and was captivated by the story. I've spent time reading mythology and feel this book is more in the mythic realm than your average story. For me, this is a "coming of age" story, primarily (obviously it is multi-genre) - a woman stepping into her sovereignty, which we as women do throughout our lives not just in our 20s. For instance, Georgia O'Keeffe moved to New Mexico when she was in her early 60s. One could say she "unfolded" within that landscape.
I watched it last night. Loved it. And I agree about so many layers to this movie. Biggest one for me was the acceptance/ permission she needed from her friend to follow her heart. Sad but true❤

I loved the Audible narration. So many books are ruined by not great narration. The movie gave musical background in my head.
