Ok, a simple and hopefully correct explanation Rosie:
Q: Rosie, Why can’t you see Rose in the dark?
A: Cuz there is no light, right?
So, u need light from a light source to fall on an opaque object so that the object, in this case Rose, can reflect light and your eyes can grasp it and thus help you see Rose.
Q: What will happend if there is no Sun?
Well, there will be no light source for moon to reflect light from and for your eyes to grasp any and hence, you will not be able to see the moon.

Rosie, The moon only reflects the 8% of the sunlight so we cannot have 2 days. And we inhale 21% of oxygen and exhale 16% of it which is enough to reanimate someone.

Healthy people are only about 25% efficient at utilizing the oxygen from the air we breathe, so although someone breathing on their own would be preferred, having someone's leftover oxygen is much better than not breathing at all. Hope this helps some curious people!
sprint25o Also!!! What they’ve found is that the compressions to someone’s chest are the most important part of CPR. Your lungs can be full of air, but if your heart isn’t circulating blood (and therefore oxygen) to the cells of your body, then it’s useless. You’re going to experience tissue death very quickly. So compressions, compressions, compressions guys and gals.

And Rose’s analogy about the urea was actually (mostly) right: urine from a decently well-hydrated person contains enough water to be drunk. It will hydrate you, just not as well as pure water
It's not a question of efficiency iirc. We just literally don't need as much oxygen as people think. The biggest problem for oxidating metabolism is removing the toxic carbon dioxide. Same problem in deep sea diving with gas tanks: your oxygen supply is fine, the biggest concern is keeping the CO2 down

In case anyone's interested in the CPR/carbon dioxide conundrum: we don't breathe out pure carbon dioxide, actually we exhale a mixture of what is mostly oxygen (about 70% but don't take that for granted, better look that percentage up if you wanna be sure) and the rest is carbon dioxide as well as a small percentage of other gases.
Now someone explain the whole moon thing. (I also wanna add that the moon does in fact reflect the light of the stars around it - the problem is that the only star close enough to be reflected is the sun. If all the other stars where close enough for the moon to reflect them, we had more than one sun)

The tl;dr version is the atmosphere is only ~20% oxygen, so the figure you gave would mean your lungs are increasing the amount of oxygen in the air. Air is ~74% nitrogen, 20% oxygen, most of the rest is argon, with trace amounts of a bunch of stuff. What you breathe out is ~13.6-16% oxygen.
2sudonim well if you scroll up to my original comment and carefully read it again you'll notice that I wrote that not the entire air we breathe out is made of carbon dioxide but only a certain percentage which exact amount I wasn't sure about. So no, I wasn't wrong, just because I didn't write "a long post" but briefly explained it in a few sentences. Anyways, thanks for taking the time to clear that up. Have a nice day.
You wrote that the air we breath out is "mostly oxygen (about 70%". That's wrong. You also wrote that "the rest is carbon dioxide as well as a small percentage of other gases." Which is also wrong. The only thing you were right about was that the air we breath out isn't devoid of oxygen. If you had kept to that simple statement, you would have been right. But you didn't. Your explanation was mostly incorrect facts. Which is why I called it "a mostly wrong description."

2. The moon only reflects 3-12% of sunlight. It’s brightest when it’s 180 degrees away from the sun from the earth.
3. We resuscitate by mouth-to-mouth because it is supposed to be an act of stimulating respiration in the other person- it’s more to do with the act of air being forced into the lungs than co2 but it is less used now

Let me add to #3 on Sophie's list. Nitrogen accounts for 78% of the atmosphere, oxygen 21% and argon 0.9%. Gases like carbon dioxide, nitrous oxides, methane, and ozone are trace gases that account for about a tenth of one percent of the atmosphere. When we exhale, the Nitrogen content remains the same as we breathed in since we humans don't need it and it is not absorbed by the lungs. Oxygen is at about 15% and CO2 is at about 4%. Thus, if doing mouth to mouth; the receiver is still get a good amount of oxygen.

Rose's hair, also mirror isn't the only thing that can reflect lights, you can see things because lights reflects off of those things. Btw this is one of my favourite video now, because a lot of things talked about in this video hilarious things.

Look Rosie, I love how your brain works! but I want you to give you an explanation. Anything that exist reflects light. The reflectiveness of something is called an albedo. Everything has an albedo and the moons albedo is about 11% so that means that it reflects 11% of the light that falls on it. The moon is illuminated by such an intense light (the sun) which is a so so soo much more brighter than the cosmic that it is clearly visible. I hope you understand it :) If anyone has more questions ask them!

For the sun and moon thing; a dark color is dark because it doesnt reflect light as much as a light color. The moon isnt black, its pretty much gray so it reflects the strong light coming from the sun. A mirror reflects a image, meanwhile a light color reflects light. (: love y'all

CPR-When we inheale we inhale 21% of O2(air), 0,04% of CO2, and 78% of nitrogen and when we exhale we exhale 17% of O2, 4% of CO2, and 78% of nitrogen
So we don't use all of the air that we inhale our cells take that proportion of O2 that it needs
So when we exhale and we give that person on which the CPR is preforming so he gets our air that is left when we exhale and that quantity is sufficient.

First I'd like to start off by saying that you guys are hilarious, amazing people, and you are both incredibly inspiring for me. I honestly wanted to know more about the sun and reflection so I did some research that I hope can help resolve your argument. Turns out, like all objects practically everything reflects some degree of light known as albedo and even though as Rosie mentioned, the sun's light wouldn't go all the way around due to the fact that it is both large enough and bright enough, there is enough light to illuminate the moon allowing anywhere between about 3-12 percent of the light reflect off the surface of the moon. The reason that other stars aren't reflected as shadows (like in a bowl as Rosie had mentioned) is due to the fact that they are too far away from the sun to do so and that they are also suns themselves. Every "star" is actually yet another sun meaning that it would also cast light of its own rather than be like any other planet. Also, night is cause because the sun is far enough away that when in orbit, the moon can cover the sun because it is far enough and the moon is close enough but since the sun is so bright it still causes the reflection among the moon. Thank you so much for everything that you guys do, it's amazing, and thank you Rosie for your wonderful ideas!

IAmStoned yeah. but if we had other stars close enough for the moon to reflect, the orbits of the planets in our solar system would completely change due to the massive gravity a star has. they would go out of alignment, some planets might be flung from the system. there's a lot of ways that earth could get majorly fucked up from that. not sure if that's what the OP meant, but there it is anyway.

CPR is not about the oxygen as much as it is about continuing the regular heartbeat and lung function when the body of the person who is receiving it, since their own body can't do it. CPR is meant to prolong the amount of time you have before an ambulance shows up.
also the closest star to us is about 4.3 light years away, so it would take 4.3 years for its light to reach the moon, so that light is entirely significant (theres not enough and its not direct enough from the distance) in terms of the moon's reflection. dirt isn't super reflective, a lot of the sun's light gets absorbed into the moon itself, so it reflects a significantly smaller amount of light than it receives.
