That is an Awesome Combo!!!! Gotta try it son....Thanks for sharing Be Blessed I think you are a great Instructor for those who are Beginners and some of us Older people like me!!!!! Enjoy your videos so much!!!
I am so going to do this! I have some of my peaches from our Weatherford Peach Festival left and chicken breast in the freezer. Remember..Fall is a Southerner's gift and treat after surviving a vicious summer :)
This looks great Noreen! I love the addition of the peaches (it reminds me of bbq orange chicken). I am going to try this soon. Our house is always so busy between homeschooling and everything else :) I love these easy recipes. Also, I noticed that you said you cooled it in the crock pot overnight which I'm sure you did in the fridge but I wanted to bring it up in case someone watching didn't know to do so. Food should always be cooled as quickly as possible and put in the fridge. The food "danger zone" is between 40°F and 140°F....every time I say food danger zone I can't help but sing ♫highway to the danger zone♫ in my head and have a Top Gun flashback lol.
Noreen, this was fabulous!! I made this today & it was such a hit with my husband!! Just started following you, loved your recipe for fridge dills, ANOTHER HIT! Thanks for sharing!!
My husband LOVED this! So did I! It will be a keeper for life. I used frozen chicken and did as Noreen suggested... using only 1 cup bbq sauce. I also poured off about 1/2 to 3/4 of the peach juice before putting them in the bottom of the crockpot. I mixed bbq sauce, onions, garlic, mustard etc in a bowl and then poured it over the top of the chicken. When it was done I found the juice to be too watery (frozen chicken) - at least for my taste. I again drained some of that and replaced it with more bbq sauce. Spices used... Sazon & Cajun seasoning. Guys... you gotta try this IT IS FABULOUS. One more tip... I cooked the hamburger buns in butter before making the sandwiches... my husband said this was a nice touch. Thanks, Noreen!!!
Yum! I was thinking I could do crockpot teriyaki shredded chicken over rice with grilled veggies. Another great video/recipe. Thank you Noreen and Rick.
Noreen - Noreen - Noreen... to the RESCUE! Saw another recipe on RUclips using crushed pineapple. Only have peaches in my kitchen and said to myself... I wonder if peaches would work. Plus was going to use frozen chicken breast but was worried it would be too watery! So as I am searching again this AM... here you are answering all my questions in my your video. I JUST LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!!! Plus you gave me some added tips on spicing things up! You are such a wonderful cook and I sincerely thank you for taking the time to teach all of us (share your cooking wisdom with us) and helping us to work "life on life's terms" and still cook GREAT meals. :-)
