When I hear this song 3 people comes to mind growing up as a kid in Mutalau, the late Ioane, the late Eviasa & the late Vilitama. It gives me chills even now when I sing this song in church. They are the best and I will never forget! Proud Muta boy.

Maybe it was introduced to the Mutalau Ekalesia by the late Rev.Tamatoa( who is the son of Rev. Pahetogia) .Rev. Tamatoa served at Mutalau as their Pastor for many years

This sounds Niuean! Its a Mutalau hymn I think
I'm from Mutalau, the tune is a bit different but possibly 'cos being backed up by instruments. But still, love it. GOD BLESS.
The amazing thing about home in the islands how sometimes each village may have their own tune, but same words/lyrics. Only on the Rock :) .
Lakatani- Tuapa bro.
@@GAVALLAARS Thanks bro. Real special being sung by non Niueans. Great to see the Lakatani talent still carried on today. Praise God.
From tuapa, composed by my beloved grandfather Togialele 😊
