Trinity River Lumber Redefines Clean with ISOCLEAN® Certified Lubricants

Trinity River Lumber Co. in Weaverville, CA, cuts Douglas fir and white fir logs into dimensional lumber. The facility includes 20 electro-hydraulic servo valves critical to keeping logs flowing through the mill. To protect these assets, and avoid costly wear and downtime, the mill developed a lubricant cleanliness standard.
Jeffrey Evans, lead lubrication technician, realized that typical new oil was not clean enough. With the help of a Chevron ISOCLEAN Certified Lubricants supplier, the mill started to bring in hydraulic fluid certified clean to a specific ISO 4406 level.
