I've seen them at the Topsfield Fair but have not partaken in the rides. Was impressed that they actually brought a fair-sized roller coaster. I was amused by the "dunk the clown" guy's insult-comedy game at one fair; he seemed to be an expert at sowing hate.
Marshfield fair was GOAT growing up, especially if you went on a day when they had the demolition derby. I actually got to ride the mouse “Pole Position” and it was very fun! Freak Out is also a big favorite. And I remember seeing the log flume as well years ago and thinking a portable log flume was so crazy! Lol
Went to a local carnival recently that had one of those Twister rides. They ran it for ages and by the time my nephew and I got off, we both felt sick. He ended up getting sick. They're no joke. First time I can remember coming off a ride feeling that way in all my years.
@@CanobieCoaster what got us was when they slowed it down and then sent us in the opposite direction. I know it wasn't, but it felt like we were on each cycle for like 5 minutes. LOL
I checked all the upcoming fairs on the website, and not even the Marshfield of Topsfield fair this year seem to have Super Cyclone. The only 2 coasters I’ve seen were the SBF Visa Spinner and the Wisdom Rides Dragon Wagon.
I saw that twister ride. The one near us is called tempest the name of the model. Built by Grover Watkins this ride is kinda rare, the hustler is based off of the tempest the hustler just doesn’t have a tilted base. It’s super disorienting and intense. It also ran a 5 minute cycle
they have rides similar to this at the CNE, they still use tickets as apposed to using a card for their rides, not to mention all the games and food are truly unique too as are the fun and timeless memories you make at an annual carnival like the CNE, enjoy the fair and see you in August/September!
Carnivals are always a regional thing; I've not been to New England, so I've never been to a Fiesta Shows carnival (that I know of, anyway). The one local carnival I go to is run by Reithoffers; I think they do a lot of the East coast.
One quibble: where you say "Scat', that ride is actually a "Tempest". "Scat" rides look like mini-Round Up cages that spin in the same direction as the platform. Tempest example: ruclips.net/video/0Olzvml-Sd0/видео.html Scat example: ruclips.net/video/uJa7cWgaE1s/видео.html
I love thier Orbitor ride. I guess you need to do one Rockwell, as they do the other fairs in New England, including the best one Deerfield Fair! A good review or series might be for you to visit the various Fairs to give your review, I think the best ones for New England are, Topsfield, Deerfied, Sandwich, and the Big E. Big E would be good, as it is only 15 mins from Six Flags
I love Fiesta Shows, they have one of the most beautiful shows in all of New England. I will never deny them of that, because they do. But here a few things I dislike about them: #1) They only have one or two carnivals for NH residents and then spend the rest of the year in Massachusetts. It makes absolutely no sense, being a NH based company. #2) They have TWO traveling units. They have unit 1 and they have unit 2. I don't understand, nor do I like how they have most all their thrill rides (freakout, top gun,) strictly with their unit 1 and their unit 2 is a very boring unit with only a couple rides that excite. They should divide the pieces up evenly, so that both units can provide a bang for the buck, instead of just 1 unit. #3) Their stays are not long enough most of the time. Some places should have a carnival for more than 4 days. They used to set up in Revere Massachusetts, outside the now former showcase cinemas. They stayed there a month. That particular carnival was their best carnival all season long. They used to setup all of their rides there. And the area where that cinema was, it was in a busy part of Revere with the carnival visible even out on the highway at the far end of the parking lot. They do not provide this carnival anymore. The showcase cinemas shut down all of their locations and the buildings (some) like the Revere location have been torn down and the parking lot ripped up. It is going to become home to an Amazon Fresh Supermarket. Please Google (if you're unfamiliar) about the Revere Showcase Cinemas. There are also videos available here on RUclips about the demolition of the Showcase Cinemas in Revere, it also talks about the cinemas being home to the Revere Spring Carnival from 1987 - 2019 when they had their final carnival there. If you look in the photos on Google, up near Squire Road (the street name of the theater) you will see a black fence covering a particular area of the parking lot. That black fence was put there by the cinemas and each March when Fiesta Shows set the carnival up there, they would do so inside of that black fence. It was their biggest and best spot they ever set a carnival up at!
Here is a link to what the showcase cinemas looked like without the carnival there. Notice the black fence around a large section of the lot that stayed there year round and was there for the Fiesta Shows carnival Mid March - Mid April month long stay in the parking lot of this business. The showcase cinemas was home to the Revere Flea Market which setup inside that black fence after Fiesta Shows' carnival vacated in Mid April. ruclips.net/video/MMhOURULrJg/видео.html

Zipper is still my favorite there.

Those things are dizzying.

This is taking me back. I used to look forward to the Topsfield fair every year. Good times…
I enjoy that fair.

Maybe they will add it later?
Viper looks like it has that exhilarating "whip" to it. I'd really enjoy that sensation.
It does.
You can never go wrong with a Zipper
Indeed!

They are great.
Great video. What fiesta shows needs is a scrambler in the flat ride department.
Maybe they'll get one.
Rockwell amusements and Fanelli amusements also does fairs near fiesta if I remember correctly. None of them have a drop tower yet though lol
I wish they had one.
@@CanobieCoaster Same
The Bangor State Fair isn't Fiestas biggest midway since Smokeys started helping but it got Super Cyclone in 2019
Cool!

They used tickets until recently.

I've been to a Reithoffer back when the Brockton Fair was a thing.

Ah ok, thanks for the clarification!
Local festival was supplied by fiesta shows. Highlights at the fair included freakout pharaoh’s fury and starship exodus
Freak Out is one of their best.

I've been to a few Rockwell midways, including the Washington Country Fair in RI.
You should do a review on Fanelli amusements and Rockwell amusement
I may in the future. I haven't visited as many of their carnivals.
It's always weird for me to see an open-air Himalaya ride (that isn't a kiddie version).
I agree!

I went to the Revere carnival a few times. It was the first time I ran across Super Cyclone.
My favorite ride is the Pharoah's Fury!
Not a big fan of swinging ships myself.
What’s lifter airtime?
Something in between floater and ejector.
I remember one of the few times I did the Meadowlands Fair I was able to ride the Enterprise myself not the last time I went
I didn't try riding that.
Next time I go, which rides should I prioritize, and which should I avoid?
Depends on the fair and which rides are there. Zipper and Freak Out are two of the best.
Bro i was on their website for one of the large fairs and super cyclone wasn't on the ride list i don't think super cyclone is their this year
They only built it for a few select carnivals. If it doesn't show up at Marshfield or Topsfield, then they may have gotten rid of it.
The fairs in the south look so big I haven’t been to those I hope to go to them
They're great down there.
Interesting that in the USA there are Companys supplying funfair... in germany there are showman which owns just single rides.
It's a different model for sure.
Fairs are not my go to but I could visit if one is in my area, especially if they have a centrifuge ride!
They do!
Zippers are rare now??
On their carnivals, yes. They only seem to be at the big ones now.
Looks decent
It's solid.
For real no water rides
Not anymore.
Weird but stupid video request: Can you do Reviews on Canadian Midway Carnivals
If I visit one of their fairs in the future, possibly.
If you do see this comment, Viper did not allow single riders in 2024, at least at the carnival I visited.
That's unfortunate.
did u know i take commissions
shameless plug ik
For what?
