Points on this game are weird. I'm doing a career mode playthrough and just the other day I finished 3rd out of the four championship drivers in the Truck series final. After the race, it showed who won, and showed me ending up 3rd in the series standings. Then after exiting the track, it gave me the "you won the championship" screen, followed by the "social media" congrats from other drivers. It even gave me the Steam achievement for winning the title.
Since you want Harvick, Chastain and Eliott at Phoenix, why not make sure they win the next three races? It'll be an interesting challenge than just trying to win yourself (which doesn't matter with that points lead).
I downloaded the mod and replaced the original game files. Everything works except I only have four gears. I noticed that when I start the game I don't have an option to select different seasons. When I start a championship I have tried 2023 and 2022 but neither of them have 5th gear for some reason. Can you please assist? I'm so close!
