His voice is deeper than rm. Rm has a raspy voice while V has a deep and husky voice. V also recently got the title of "deepest voice in k pop"

Suga came second and rm third. So pls... don't confuse urself

@@cookiedough9959 wait they don't use backtracking all the time? I thought they did? That's why they sound so studio-ish and too crystal clear. Listen I'm just stating facts, he using mostly backtrack in this live version. I just don't see the fuss about it. I think BTS is a cool boy band, but they are mostly performers and less of singers.

massive respect to Kim Taehyung. He is a musical legend. Wide vocal range and versatility.
I never get tired of watching people be amazed at this part of Stigma. One of my absolute favourite BTS songs, and the fact that he sounds like he swallowed the CD on the high note is ridiculously impressive.

I wouldn't really say he chose him to do a solo as Jimin is the only member who didn't sing any part of My Universe by himself. It would be more accurate to say he knows Vs voice well enough to come into the recording session with BTS knowing exactly which part he wanted V to sing. Jungkook actually got most of the individual parts but V got the second longest vocal line part. Chris knew V would nail that part of the song and he did.
V recorded the whole my universe song in his own voice and sent it to Chris Martin and all the coldplay team said he is the second Chris Martin...this information is provided as it is he said in the vogue/gq interview

Nothing beats this soulful delivery of high notes by Taehyung in Stigma! He didn’t just sing these notes…he made them art! This is R&B at its finest! The man uses his voice like an instrument by manipulating the timbre of the note and opening in the middle as he sustains it with perfect pitch! He really showed his strength as one of the world’s best vocalists! I’ve listened to decades of R&B greats and Kim Taehyung just took me to church! Hmmm mmm…ya’ll know what I mean! V’s got IT!
