That should yield a nice harvest, the soil is beautiful. When you were spreading that wet straw, I could almost smell it. Thanks for sharing, be well my friend.
Give me a few years I will have some garden beds.
Thanks Hatch we will be eating good I hope lol.
Thank you for sharing 🎉
Thank you so much for watching.
I need to build another bed so I have room for potatoes. We used to grow them when I was a kid. They are the best potatoes you can get.
The small baby ones are the best of the bunch.
Your right about the small ones love them.
Thanks for the comment Daryl.
One of my favorite staple foods because there's so many different ways you can make them.
I didn't know you had to dry them some before planting them.
Plenty of potatoes coming soon enough.
Hugs to both of you ❤
I love potatoes too good can't wait lol.
Thank you Carmen.
Lookin' good!
Thank you.
I seem to remember putting potato in glass of water to get roots then I guess plant.
I have seen people do that before thanks for the comment and watching my friend.
Awesome job guys , keep them videos coming !!!!!! Gotta see how it works !!!!! What kind of wood do you recommend for the very bottom layer of the raised beds ? And what not to use ? Would appreciate your opinion , we're in S/W Mi. Thanks
Any thing but not black walnut I put a lot poplar wood in mine it is a soft wood and will rot fast.
leaves and straw works good to thank you for the comment and watching.
I can a new video coming of cooking those breakfast potatoes.
Sounds good!
Will do thanks Frank.
I wanted to start planting things, I had one question that drove me nuts. Is it worth planting just because by time I get the dirt, top moss and water every once in the while. Is it cost effective? I don't have a nice box just an open area and critters may eat what I plant.
That's such a good question.
I may do a video on that.
I think it is if you enjoy it you don't have to buy everything at one time just little at a time.
