- International freight forwarder SBS Worldwide has found a simple, greener way of fitting more books inside the traditional sea container. It is a solution that allows publishers to save money (15% on freight costs) and trees (200 million) by allowing up to 30% more books to be loaded into the container.
SBS Worldwide is launching the slipsheet and push/pull forklift attachment in partnership with Cascade, the largest manufacturers of push/pull equipment, in Europe and the USA.
This video demonstrates the significant advantages of implementation slipsheets into the publishers supply chain.
I have used one of these to slip loads of IV water which are a few thousand pounds each. If you arent super careful, the bottom will drag from the weigh and rip the lids off the units below the slip. A fun process though!

I have to use this attachment the fun part is stacking not just picking them up. Takes a bit to get used to especially having to push and reverse at the same time or boom you f'd up
Not every product is as easy to stack by just pushing the slip sheet on when stacking some of the stuff we do we have to stack it but reverse while pushing the attachment forward to keep it in place while stacking. Takes more practice but I've never fd anything up yet lmao.
I know this is from a year ago, so my bad, but totally agreed. This video makes this stuff look really easy.

It's all about timing...push and reverse at the same time...the tricky part is to keep them both at the same speed (balanced) if ur reversing was faster than the pushing..guess what? A MESS!!! 😆
Does the grip activate when u pull the lever back at any giving moment or hows it work?
