I'm max level with every quest done and bestiary filled and I still don't know...when he was fighting the great treelad in this video their is also lightning. Again I'm probably just being extremely stupid but if anyone does know why this is, please tell me.

It’s copper gauntlet, on like every 3rd hit you can apply the lightning in exchange for some mana
