I was on clubhouse the other day and a Black Female Trump supporter admitted she was tired of seeing poor people get everything. On another day a Black male moderator in that same room let us know that he feels that people who can’t keep up should be left behind. A few agreed outloud but only one or two gave any pushback. I sat in another room for a while listening to some intelligent brothers and one white man discussing history. It was a great listen. All of the men clearly studied from different angles so the conversation was lively and informative. All of a sudden the white man asked the brothers about Kamala vs Trump. One of the brothers who’d been quietly listening the whole time came off the mic just to call her Cumala. One who’d been so impressive just a few minutes before started describing the ways Black people have been riding with Trump since the 80s. You know they have to bring up rap videos. I was so disappointed. The white man said on top of his negative personal experiences with Trump he knows many black people who have considered Trump racist since the 80s. He asked the brothers how they felt about Trumps father not renting to Black people and they laughed. They said they couldnt believe that was an example he would use to prove Trump’s racist. He brought up The Exonerated Five. The brother said he agreed with Trump because we still don’t know what really happened. At that point I had to leave. I was embarrassed on their behalf. I was disappointed that these powerful voices that spoke so knowledgeably about history and passionately about the plight of Black Americans just a half hour before all that allowed their brains to turn to mush when thinking about Trump. From listening to these types it seems to be an issue with women, especially Black women. The only issue that they seem to be more obsessed with than that is the democratic support for Transgender Rights. It’s so bizarre. And these people cannot be talked to. I’ve heard people debunk their concerns time after time and they always go right back to hypothetical transgenders in restrooms with little girls and late term abortions.

Inflation is the driving force why things are more expensive now than they have been in the past 4 years.
