Dude, Any Toyota tundra model 2005 and up are super reliable, good for off roading, good with gas and storage and the best part is that its for bumping 80-90s rock and country! great vid btw I stay tuned in and recently been watching everyday and I'm pumped to see what you guys have to show with duck/geese hunting!
Good morning, everyone! We hope you enjoy the video. 📌 When you hear the question, don't forget to leave your answer in the comments here for your chance to win 2 DOZEN FREE DECOYS!
2012 500 Polaris ranger. Small & light weight easy to go through woods & doesn’t track up fields to bad. Goes through about anything, don’t know how I ever made it without it!!!
Hell yeah nice shoot!! My favorite scout rig for me and my buddies is the old 1996 ford f-150 it gets us out where we need to be perfect for going out in the field to set up the spread just got 6 dozen new shilos from you guys on your christmas sale. loving all my gear from you guys!!!
The ultimate scout rig: manual 2014 Toyota Corolla. Big trucks hit the marsh, but when the front-wheel-drive beast rolls in loaded with decoys and waders and scraping the whole way into the blind.. That’s duck hunting dominance. 😂
Rocking the 04 ranger. Can't beat them things. Quiet, small enough to get places, reliable, and it takes a beating. It's hauled a 500lb bear out of the woods and hauls the boat to the lake just fine. 270,000 miles strong.
Always enjoy your shows. Brrr. I am headed to western NE tomorrow with sub zero temperatures. Taking my 18 year old grandson, who has never experienced this. Looking forward to the “show”!
The ultimate scout rig! The ultimate scout rig would have to be the 6x6 Can Am! Especially when you are going off road, these things are unstoppable! They never get stuck (unless you purposely try….lol) they got a little bed for whatever you want to bring gear wise. Loaded down with a complete sound system, you and the crew can get down while searching! They also have AC/Heat, and in Oklahoma its street legal so its able to hope from flood land, river or hop on to the next pasture!
My favorite scout rig is definitely the Toyota 4Runner. It’s incredibly reliable, handles tough off-road terrain with ease, and has plenty of space for my gear or game.
When i want to fly under the radar, a 2008 black cadillac DTS. Blends in great especially when you scout properly near churches, and the trunk is big enough to fit a deer. One time I was backed up to a piece of public ground and had the trunk popped gearing up for an evening hunt, I had a cop stop to make sure I wasn't dumping a body in the woods!
My all time scout rig was back in high school I got my parents old 92 GMC Safari van had just under 500,000km on her. Packed all my buddies and decoys in that van 2:46
Current scout rig is a 99 Chevy Tracker soft top. Gets 20mph, and I can stick a buddy in the back with the top down for better visual! Good off road vehicle.
My favorite scout rig is a 09 ford edge, mom bent the frame on it a few years back but it still gets us around and has had many limits piled in the backseat😂
Top of the list 2005 ford explore got the heat in the back so you have warm waders or warm clothes to slip into before you go out and slay the geese and yes we do pull a inclosed behind it
Toyota Tacoma for sure, I ordered my TRD brand new back in 2008, it’s now my farm truck but what we still use more often scouting, especially when it’s bitter cold opposed to rolling in the street legal rzr
94’ ford ranger. Plum purple optional but worth it for the vibe. Good on gas good space for gear and by far the most comfortable seats I’ve ever sat in. It’s like scouting from a lazy boy
Suzuki samari. Tiny, inconspicuous, goes just about anywhere, great mileage, heater rips. Pair of 10x42 binos and the spotting scope with a window mount and a phone adapter so the boys know you ain’t lying about the feed
My all time scout rig was a 1997 Toyota single cab Tacoma. It had 33s. Stick shift. No heater and no radio. Other than that you couldn’t kill that thing. Sold it for a grand in 2010 I think. I miss it. - bartonhuntstwo
I think the ultimate scouting rig is a 1997 Chevy 1500 with the 350 in her brown with the camper shell to match and dual pipes out the back that is what me and my buddy use and it is just something about getting into that truck just gets everyone in the mood to kill some birds codyroberts022 love the content
You can’t ever go wrong with a 19 F150. Quiet, compact, with plenty of room for what you need. And you will blend in with the other million F150’s out there!
03 ford excursion limited with the 7.3 power stroke. Big ole truck but she gets the job done and all the boys can fit with comfort so we got a little party on wheels while driving around the fields.
The ultimate scout rig was a buddies 1993 Geo Tracker with no top. Go anywhere, see flocks in the air, if you hit a deer cause he was driving 80 mph on a dirt road between two standing corn field you were out $15 if it was totaled. Lol
94 Yoder 4Runner. Easy on gas, tough as nails, light so it doesn’t get stuck, keeps weather off your gear. We are much more bougie now, but you can’t beat the old school.
Most under rated scout vehicle is my 2007 Chrysler town and country mini van. Being from Utah we gave it the nick name the mav (Mormon assault vehicle)😂 it can get almost anywhere and can fit all the guys or decoys you need to hunt.
My dream scouting would be an Argo XTV that is a convertible duck blind with rotatable hunting turrets and dog doors at the bottom for your dogs to retrieve birds
Im going to go completely different than anything said here... great scouting rig is my DJI drone!! When its time to start scouting the rivers they are hard to access and see all, and that is when i run the drone down the rivers.. finding birds and looking at setups. I also like to use drone when scouting fields too.. see the birds in the fields and where they want to be.. and look for cover for hides.. Drone is a great scouting rig!
Ultimate scout rig is 2005 Honda pilot, allot of room in the back for gear or buddies and also no one has any expectations from a Honda pilot😂 -lil_wheelieboy
Ultimate scout rig Ford excursion diesel 4x4 Sounds like farm equipment if you drive through field, will go through a foot of snow with ease and if you get stuck with the kids you can bring them along comfortably. Bonus if you have a roof rack and you can sit on top of it and glass
The ultimate rig for me would be a mini bus, jam the boys in and hit the road. My current scout rig is my 23 trd Tacoma. Would love to add some dive bombs to my spread.
Ultimate Scout Rig - 2001 Jeep Wrangler 5 speed with a 4.0, can take it anywhere real light and small and room for things in the back and I use a back rack on mine.
The ol 04 Toyota Camry is what I’ve been scouting in this year since the truck decided to stop working right before season but it’s quiet and stealthy and I ain’t got to pick my dog up to get in.
2012 f-150 fx4, I got almost 250000 thousand miles on her and she is still going strong never have had a problem with her, has never got stuck either with the BFGoodrich allterrain tires.
Favorite scout vehicle is whatever I can afford honestly. As long as it doesn’t look like a crap box so we can still secure that permission. No insta but have the ole email haha.
Chevy Trail boss. Can’t go wrong with it. Enough room for all the fellas when they don’t want to drive. Can get you through a lot of stuff and a lot of places especially when Whiskey Meyers is playing. -hunterpesek12
