Enjoyed the video! I’m not a John Deere guy but, I can certainly appreciate how nice those tractors look.

That old hand crank fanning mill sure bring back memories. My grandfather had one in the granary and when I was 4 got the end of my finger chewed off in one of the chain and sprockets. Me and my brother used to crank it while my uncle would pour the grain in it to clean it. For some stupid reason when we were done brother kept cranking it and I was swing my arms around and finger went in the right spot.

Ouch that would hurt. My dad likes to use a small gas engine like an Iron Horse. A lot use electric motors. If you cleaned a couple of bushels, cranking is ok. but a couple hundred bushels, it would be darn tiresome.

I'm not a tractor guy but I love these videos. My question is what is an "Orchard tractor". Do they have a special purpose?

Thanks so much. Orchard tractors are usually lower profile and lack air cleaner and exhaust stacks to provide clearance under trees.

Dont think we had any propane powered tractors of any brand in this corner of the world

They’re hard to find. We have an 806 on propane. Neighbour has a 4010 on propane. But they are far and few between.

Minneapolis-Moline produced the most LP powered tractors I believe

@tyfrank3427 I'm in Ireland but as a kid I remember petrol, petrol/tvo, and diesel powered tractors. A Fordson major or a Massey 165 were monster machines. There was also an Allis or two knockin around.
