    I suffer from severe Crohn’s disease. I’ve always been artistic, however I had gone over 10 years without drawing or creating any art. I was dx age 20 and around age 30 my mom said one day, why don’t you try painting something. I swear I will never forget that day. I painted a huge blue owl with acrylic paint on a big piece of wood she had. And I’m now 39, I swear I pick up a paintbrush every day. It helped me divert attention from my horrendous pain, dark moments, etc. Today, I’m in remission, but my art continues to be the best form of calming therapy to me. It allows me to go into a trance where I feel peaceful and tranquil. Art has saved my life, maybe not literally, but definitely spiritually and for increasing my positive mentality that has always been there but needed an extra push lol!!! Thank you both for that beautiful video ! I’m feeling inspired by you both! 💟☮️🕉
