Pierre is a new addition to the DNS Wines family. He comes to us as a rising star in Burgundy; producing wines that are impressing even the most formidable palates. Join us as we welcome Pierre-Vincent to the DNS portfolio and taste through a small selection of whites and reds from his 2018 vintage.
About Pierre-Vincent
Pierre-Vincent Girardin is the son of Vincent Girardin who built a large négociant winery in Burgundy over many years. Vincent sold his winery several years ago and his son is now following in his father’s footsteps although Pierre is not looking to grow to the same large scale as his father, he instead wants to focus on small production and high-quality wines from the best terroirs in Burgundy.
He is only 21 years old and is certainly one of the next rising stars in Burgundy. He boasts an exciting range of whites from Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, and even Grand Crus like Montrachet, Batard-Montrachet, and Corton-Charlemagne. For reds, he has Pommard, Volnay, and even wines from the Cote-de-Nuits like Gevrey-Chambertin, Mazis-Chambertin, Griotte-Chambertin, and Clos de Vougeot. This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor with a producer whom we believe is going to be a big name and very sought -after in the years to come.
