- I always knew that these California acoustic covers weren't really going to work. Here's further proof.
You may notice that I threw a bit of reverb on the audio track in post. Stop noticing that. Don't judge me.
Can you imagine if you didn’t know this song and this dude broke this out at a coffee shop. 👀👀. This is awesome! You had to make decisions on which parts of the music to emphasize and I think you completely nailed it. 10/10

That's really nice to hear. Yeah, Mr. Bungle is a little out there so it can be hard to find people who are into it. I'm not sure I can say I understand it, but I definitely love it.

Killed it! I tried to figure out alot of California by ear and the only songI could figure out was pink cigarette. I never even thought about mr bungle on acoustic. You took on some serious multi-tasking like a pro. I noticed you even fattened it up on some songs and took on the keyboard part played simultaneously with the guitar parts!
I'm glad you like it. It was a fun experiment. I've seen youtube musicians way better than me who could probably have done a much better job, but for the most part no one seemed to be tackling Mr. Bungle so I thought I'd give it a shot. I was mostly interested in coming up with a way for one guy to get through the California album with just one acoustic guitar and a voice and have it at least be recognizable. I ultimately failed in the long run, but, like I said, it was a fun experiment.

@@aaronmatthews6509 By "failed" I mean I had to resort to some overdubs on some of the songs where I couldn't come up with a solo acoustic arrangement. And None Of Them Knew They Were Robots just barely happened at all. I'm basically just playing the bass line along with the track.
