Hey just a tip to make this easier for. The rewards for levels 1-10 are identical. The rewards then upgrade and are again identical from 11-20. Then so on and so forth. What you should do is take your strongest squad and max out all 3 campaigns with it. If you are stuck in between a reward bracket just go back to the lowest one. For example if you can’t beat 20 and 21 just do 11 because the rewards for 11 and 20 are identical. This will give your weaker heroes a chance to be upgraded
Switching your best gear onto the squad you are using is a great tip, but rotating your best squad between campaigns doesn't yield the best results (spoken as someone who used to do the same thing). You're better off using your best tank heroes in the tank campaign, your best aircraft in the aircraft hero campaign, and your best missile heroes in the missile campaign. Each time you should choose the highest level you can clear, but that level will be higher if you are choosing the campaign those heroes are best suited to based on their class. It is true that you can do an extra level when you clear a new level, but that will ultimately happen the same number of times no matter what strategy you choose, namely once per level. If you are being extra clever, you can wait to clear a new level until you are strong enough to clear the one after it too, but that is a tradeoff and depends on how long of a wait that entails. You should always try first to clear a level with a low-level hero subbed in to get them free levels. If you complete the entire campaign, you can also save a better hero for a different campaign.
I'm now taking the best heroes out to use in the missile squad (due to clearing max lvl with tanks and a sub). One note: I only have a tank squad, so rotation was best for me, if you build the other squads up, I could see your side of it :)
Hello bro. Do you know whether the enemies in honorable campaigns can be considered as monsters or zombies? I mean whether the buff of Mason or Monica will work.

I use my weak characters as much as possible and throw in a strong unit if I have to because any unit under 100 has a chance to get a free level up

Monsters are anything that aren't pvp and aren't world zombies or doom elites. Mason's buff works
