I wonder what it's like doing a mid air refueling between two of these behemoths when your already running on fumes. Just sitting there hoping the fumes hold out till the fuel can actually make it through the ship to the engine. Staring across at a giant floating fuel tank and wondering how big of a boom there would be if your engines died and the ship pulled the tanker down on-top of itself. Other than stuff like that and the gunfire though I'd imagine being on one of these ships would be pretty cool. Sailors always gush about an endless expanse of water being a spectacular view but aviation is where the you find the actual spectacular view. Also you can walk around and use the bathroom and that's more than you can say for most pilots so it's like the best of both worlds.
I bet it's terrifying, especially as it is liquid helium these things are fueled by. Extremally reactive fuel being pumped between low tech airships is surely a great idea.
He talks this big talk about freedom but he definitely deserved that sword in the back, I don't think that's something phosphor should feel bad about. Nuclear genocide, suppression of the free flow of information and he technically attacked the Duke while waving the flag of truce. Speaking of which a playthrough of old school Alpha Centauri would be cool.
you have ever right to be smug about the audacity build. i was adamant (to myself) that you needed to add a 3rd bruiser to your fleet a Long time ago, and i was wrong. you built a ship that played to your strengths and weaknesses, you piloted better this campaign than last, managed your morale well after early setback been a blast to watch, thanks
It certainly makes for some nail-biting combat. The enemy command will be going mad trying to deal with this one 600KPH fighter-bomber that just keeps nailing garrison after garrison and appearing with no warning.
My current campaign uses a community build called "Fearless" for the brawler. 2 180mm guns and a fair amount of armor. Ship is extremely maneuverable. I'm pairing that with a homemade spy ship, 2 audacitys, a carrier flagship and a missile carrier. Can confirm that the audacity is meta
Oh nice to see my idea mentioned! It seems promising but it might need some tweaking/require knowing the mechanics fully. I think the best thing is that the planes and the strike force hit while the enemy were still landed.
quick though : use the nomad as first line of attack for khiva. Will give us a nice "big ship" brawl + you don't care for damage since you plan on leaving it in Khiva any way
New Episode woob woob //Edit: I just watched your "community planes" video and realized what you said is what I just said but beter 1x1 all the way baby! did you now you can put 2 jammers on a ship and double the jamming range? also 2 2x1 are lighter then a single 2x2 also 2 2x1 crew quarters are lighter then a single 2x2 (if not correct its at least more flexible and more HP in total) can you do a small hints guide? Id do It but im not good at the video making thing all I do Is spend hours in the ship builder and never actually play the campaign cuz my tactical skill sux lol
I have a video like that planned, I will need to check all my info is up to date for the latest version before I make it! I didn't know that about Jammers, that is Very interesting thank you.
So i just noticed .... the sudden strike percent indicator has switches underneath it for irst, short and long radar. Are those functional? Seems like it would show the probably vs visual by default or the other sensors
Yes I assumed for awhile it was a toggle to turn those sensors off on the fleet but it is the probability of each of those detecting the fleet. I believe all cities have radar out to the red line.
YO dude you know project wingman and red rising that's it when I get the Chace imma support your channel you my goodman have excellent taste hail reaper!

15:38 I belly laughed when I heard that Imgur is where the Lord Governor keeps his memes xD
We must liberate those memes for the people of Gerat!

If Zelda taught us anything, that you dont fuck with Roosters.
Now I am imagining being able to deploy with several AI flown friendly Audacity class corvettes.

The Flying DutchRooster? Ton for ton Sloggers seem like the most annoying garrison/escort in Gerat
If they are not dealt with quickly they can start firing off 180mm prox fuse on a tiny frame and absolutely destroy you,

Nice! Can you link to the Fearless? I am really keen to check it out. Awesome to hear the Audacity is working for you!
Community members post their builds in #blueprints
What's the build on the spy ship? How do you use it?
Leave it to the rooster to come in clutch.
Hell yes.
Great ship - continues the tradition of excellence all ships called The Rooster have built around themselves.
I hope this one doesn't get nuked!

The weirdest thing is one of the planes just.. didn't attack :S I am not sure what happened there at all. But yes thank you for the suggestion!
Excited to see updates to the play through. It’s finally got me into playing the game!
That's awesome! I hope you are having fun with it!
That was an amazing fight and a textbook Collingwood landing.
Snug and safe in the landing zone! That was a good session.
LOVE this series, the Imgur refference got me
Thanks! We need to liberate those Memes!
La29 planes literally do half what the T7s do they should be cheaper than -500 in price
29:50 Fanfic fuel.
Would be fun to write from the perspective of air traffic control in Urkesh.
We Ace Combat four now.

@@Phrosphor thanks ^^
saw that on one of the vanilla ships
quote me :P
What a tense battle, well done!
Thank you, I was very happy with myself for pulling it off.
Good bomb strikes in this one.
Extremally satisfying.
Good Bomb.

@@Phrosphor so what is the lightning vs audacity vs collingwood chances against them then?
@@Neil1357924680 great question. I know the Audacity and the lightning are in the high 90's and the Collingwood around 88 but not the exact number

I was so waiting for this!
Great episode as always!
Glad you enjoyed it!
At 21:13 does prox fuse have a minimum range for activation? Didn't seem to do any dmg until you went further out
Yes it does!
