Hello Next Meridian! I started watching you when you met Ewa. Since I am caught up on your current videos, I have gone back to the beginning and really am amazed and impressed! Thank you so much and I am really looking forward to seeing all your videos!
we see this comment at the same time as the other. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch it all it motivates us a lot that you like the progress we made!
I'm the same and met these two when they met up with Eva. I'm now going back during the break from the Americas to Austrailia. It's great to see this journey in it's infancy.
@@NextMeridianExpedition . yes 4x4 pickup right now . Had a Land Rover 110 like yours till it got wrecked . Miss it a lot hope to get another one , there’s nothing like a 110 defender for over landing fun and adventure . Cheers from Steve Stott in Sutherlin Oregon U.S.A. …P.S. Looking forward to seeing more from the both of you . :):)👍🏼
Hey there. Can you tell me the type of swing away wheel carrier you have? I need one that’ll clear my hi lift like yours does. Thanks kindly. Love your videos. Very inspiring.
Wow what an equipped Land Rover, so interesting, well dine guysssss!!!!! Thanks for all the explanations 😇🤩would like to offer this missing item : 🪴🪴🤪. Love the videoioo🤩
Great conversion! The only wrong thing is the sink position, is covered when the bed is open and when the roof is closed.. yes, you can use the external shower… but the access to water must be more useful… greetings from Tuscany 👋👋👋👋
In this video you were thinking of 1000km on 110l and 1500km on 150l including the jerries: so that is about 10km per liter: how is your actual consumption? especially off road? 10 out of 1 seems very very optimistic in my opinion....
On normal roads we do 11l/100km. and off-road it would depend if there is a lot of elevation gain but we d go to 13/14l/100km probably. but it really varies from a track to another.
seriously reconsider fuel on the side of the vehicle, you might also want to find out the legislation requirements for such. In the UK, you'd need them to be empty and you'd need extended mirror arms as you cannot see behind you properly. Also most ferries won't allow external fuel cans. So at that point, you might as well store them internally or underslung.
Yes in Europe they need to be empty. And surely other countries too. We will only have them on when doing our world tour and they will only be full when we take long distances. We have not yet taken a decision on extended mirrors as when the Jerry’s are removed we can see clearly behind. But we’ll keep your feedback in mind.
@@NextMeridianExpedition extended arms are part RRC8443, i'd also talk to a few of the Defender driving overlanders for their tips. Good luck in the travels though, I might see you around, although the vehicle and interior seem familiar, met one very similar toy yours a few years back in Scotland. :-D
Hi Dido, yea they are for jerrycans, but you can also set up side boxes for storage or sand tracks. I got the Slimline tracks from Mudstuff in the United Kingdom.
Hi Chaski, we will be doing another video soon on the car. And we’ll be getting better at making them to make sure their on point! :) Thanks for the feedback.

That is kind of the system we have now actually! You can check our latest build video

neat setup man, btw what's the brand for your combo heater+AC that U are using?
Hi Ian, we are using the Eberspacher Airtronic D2 Camper. We love it and it’s works very well. Hope it helps.
Subtitulos en español. Gracias.
Hola! Disculpa de mi rispespuesta tardiva. Ora estan todo tambien en espagnol 😃
Who is the manufacturer of the pop top roof for the defender 110?
It is a German company called extec and it was installed by a French company called RRC
Roughly how much for the pop up roof bed
Sympa l'Albatros !

What are those 2 bars for the JerryCans? Where to get them? Thnx

@@NextMeridianExpedition thank you, I found some universal tracks can be customized to take anything. Starting your journey soon?
Great! Yes we will be leaving in April 2022. What about you?
@@NextMeridianExpedition still building mine, first plan is the Middle East
That’ll be a sweet trip, when is it planned for?
Nice video but I recommend doing it without the annoying music playing. With the wind and music it is distracting.

Aluminum sand tracks trash and heavy, take plastic!
You are right! We were thinking about it, but we’ll start off with those and switch them if needed :)
