Nadim needs to be congratulated for putting the group of young Arab-Lebanese women together and choreographing the dances. More so, for his inspiration, as he says, from none other than the grandiose singer, who died of cancer, I mean Jane, known as Nightbirde.

Yeah, after those comments, it was clear who was the winner. I didn't watch this season, just checked out this clip but I felt really bad for her, felt really awkward
I agree. Plus they dragged out saying the winner. I'm glad the mayas won, but it's amazing how hard both of the finalists worked to get this far.
And the fact that during the emotion overload and extreme suspense of announcing the winner those Mayyas girls all had each other for support but across the stage this one lone performer only has herself and has to hold it all in. Then afterwards it didn’t even seem like anyone paid her any attention, she just had to be there on stage by herself clapping for the other group.
Y’all shouldn’t be this affected. These are scripted and that’s just part of the ‘entertainment’

What distinguishes this band is the great (passion) within it, as well as the ability to embody things such as trees and animals in a unified dance with Arabic melodies, and what distinguishes them is that every time they dance, a girl comes out who is the heroine in the story, and the result is a show that the world has not seen before .

These are Egyptian and Lebanese air melodies that a Lebanese of Armenian background had the genius to compose on the sound of various instruments discovered in Orient and in Occident. I could watch these ladies for HOURS. Beautiful, mesmerizing, unique, STUNNING. This year the talent was absolutely bonkers, from Kristy to MetaPhysics, the 12 year old adorable farm girl who had 100 or more "pets" and her dogs to the 14 year old amazing singer from Poland. Just INCREDIBLE mind blowing talent and there couldn't have been a better winner. Out of all the talent/dance shows/movies I have watched from Star Search (yeah Im THAT old :)) Dance War, World of Dance etc., these amazing ladies and their world class choreographer Nadim are my favorite acts ever.

Dear Mr. Nadim, the best cheonographer for the Mayyas. In year 2023, if you are taking part again, l am sure the American Got Talent, would want to see for a change, in Belly Dancing's turn. It will be more hilarious than the other 4 beautiful, amazing dances that they had shown. I belief strongly with the new ideas l sunggested to you, that you will definitely win again. First Time when I saw them performing I was like wow, I have never seen something soextraordinary like this . Their creativity , movement and sisterhood love its amazing.
I would totally go to a whole show with only their acts telling different stories... It's so magical and mystical, like diving into a whole different world or a fairy tale! I hope they will do a tour!
What most of u didn't know about is that the first bald girl wearing the wedding dress on top was the character of nightbird, they mentioned that in one of their interviews.... they seemed so attached to nightbird..

Couldnt help feeling bad for the 1 contestant standing along, she was a good sport & clapped.
You could tell that she knew she wasn’t going to win. But she stayed very poised and was a very good sport about it. Bad luck for her going up against maybe the best act ever v on AGT.
I'm actually teary-eyed in all their performances. I wish their story can inspire other girls and women around the world especially those in arab countries like Palestine, Yemen, and those in Afghanistan as well. Kudos to the choreographer and to all these ladies!! Well deserved, Congratulations!
