I've been using them for half a year now as my first wireless earbuds. They do sound great but I often have issues with the left side not pairing and I have to reset them to get it to work. It didn't do it in the last 2-3 days since I did a firmware update. Also, they're easy to fall out my ears and they kinda hurt after a while.
Hey Phillip, thanks for the review. I have a tip for you regarding the fit. I bought the same earbuds first week they released and i loved the music but hated the fit, it's like you said super uncomfortable after a bit (believe me i tried everything from different sizes to thinking that the problem was in my ear). I figured out that the eartips were the actual issue not the buds themselves. I got Comply Isolation tips and they changed my life :o They isolate everything and they fill your ear canal to the point where you're hearing all the music that's coming out those little devils. Sorry for the rant but i honestly think that cks5tw + comply isolation is the best deal out there until TW earbuds get better in a couple of years. I got the size 400 in case you're interested and the waxguards relieved me from worrying about sweat getting into the earbud grill inside ( im a sweaty boi) Hope this helps!
Hi Phillip, You didn't cover whether there is audio lag if watching videos. This is one of my biggest issues. I have 3 different sets of buds (different brands), all Bluetooth 5 which have lag issues when watching videos in that the video/audio is not in sync. I have a set of older Sennheiser Urbanite over ear 'phones which are Bluetooth 4, and these have no sync issues at all. I also tried with another over ear set of 'phones with Bluetooth 4 and again, no sync issues. Using your video as a test source, btw :) I am testing with Win10 Pro, version 2004. I don't have any older buds with Bluetooth 4 to test with, unfortunately.
I can't notice any audio lag at all, however with my galaxy note 8 I sometimes have issues with left side not connecting and I have to do the reset procedure which takes 1-2 minutes.. I also had it disconnected/interrupt for a second or so while walking a few times.
i love mine and use them all day as in from home to work for conference calls with no issue. I have the beats pro's, Jlab epic sport Elites, and the power beats 3's. the other hurt my ears so much I had to go to the doctor. These ones I have no issues.
Highly doubt for the sound quality, not a balance earbuds with too much bass for me. They sound very mushy to me. Go grab the previous model from Audio-Technica.
These didn't hurt my ears at all even after 3 and a half hours, in fact I was able to get 5 hours out of these before I got nervous and plugged them in to recharge them. So for me I have no pain to speak of from long periods of listening. Sorry about your luck. Anyways I love Love LOVE THESE BABIES!!!
Just got the Audio Technica, and I agree, the rubber tips can be a bit uncomfortable. It comes with different sizes but I noticed if you switch to the smaller tips, for some reason the bass foundation suffers. I replaced my tips with "Double Flange Replacement Silicone Earbuds" that I got on Amazon. They fit perfect and are comfortable and retain the bottom bass end. If you're talking about the weight or something like that, I haven't noticed any issues with that.
@@kova_tech black ones are available in germany but blue ones not. I have to wati and see if can find a good offer . Because i like to have wireless earbuds which have long battery time.
That’s because they use the 10mm driver. Most of the earbuds is the market are 5.4 or 6. These are really good. My only complaint with them is the software which doesn’t have any tweaking options.
I have both. The only thing these have over the jabra elite active 65t is battery life and bass. I still think the jabra sound way better but my jabra couldn't get me through a work day. The jabra fit and look is way better.
These headphones actually reach a frequency of up to 40,000hz. That's incredibly high when compared to most consumer-grade headphones, let alone wireless earbuds.
Everyone who reviews these says the the "lows" are a bit on the lower side. I just wanna make sure.. Are these gonna sound better than the wired 15$ sony earbuds that I have? or Im I paying for wireless and battery life only?
@@kova_tech So I finally got a pair of ATH-CKS5TW 's and I love the sound, they dont really fit my ears and they hurt after about 5 minutes of use even though I have quite big ears. Also the sound cuts out every 5-10 seconds for about 1/4 of a second and then it continues adding to the desync. Idk what's going on but the constant sound stutter is infuritating, even more considering how good the actuall sound is. With that said, I would rather have a 10$ wired sony earbuds that sound as good without the stutter... Maybe I got the faulty pair. I contacted audiotechnica and I still haven't heard back from them..
Would you say better/ worse or on par with the galaxy buds, sound quality wise and overall? I'm debating between these and the galaxy buds but can't find any comparisons
Krytex, if I have genuine set from amazon, they sound awful. Muffled sound and very strong base. Battery life is great, Bluetooth connection is very good. Samsung buds have very weak Bluetooth and good sound (base, meds and highs)
@@DN-gc1qi thx but in the end I went with the aukey t10. People have said the audio technica sound awful so I would've gone with the samsung but then I found many reviews on the aukey and people say they sound on par and some have said better than the galaxy buds and they're cheaper.
I just dropped mine today in the toilet bowl and the sink, washed them, at first I didn't use it, let it drop for a whole day, then charge it after it's dried, then reset it, it's back to working now xD

Blue? Ewww... Such a cliche “I wanted something different”. Everybody is trying to get the different crap and they end up having the same color and not being different anymore. Like when Huawei P20 lite hit the market. All the people I know have it blue. Well I wish you luck in fitting them with other colors in your clothing when you go out! I had once red headphones. I reached since then the best color for accessories is black because you can wear it at any clothes. In Santanas we truly trust!

Fairly certain they are a total 45 hr playtime (15 hrs + 30 hrs with case)
Which one got better sound quality Anker soundcore liberty 2pro or ATH cks5tw ? Thanks

Jeffrey Tkachuk only right one works for call right?

how is call quality if u call from car or other place with some background noise?
