The panel went back and forth in this episode. Marbles champion #3 knew his stuff. Betty White in her younger days was a babe. Hy Gardner mentioned something about a talking horse. Of course, he had no way of knowing that in a few years there would be. Mr. Ed. Thanks for the video.
they got me good, the one boy didn’t know his name, the other had a smirk that convinced me and the boy who came off as not so bright ended up fooling everyone. 😂
The Aussie cookie Tim Tam the most famous of biscuit cookie in the country was actually named after the Kentucky Derby winning horse mentioned here. No visit to Australia is complete without trying this treat the cookie is most popular and has been sold in the USA from time to time but it;s great to see the link from the horse and the biscuit (cookie) here to tell the truth
Marbles champ: Hats off to kid #3 for completely fooling the panel. I thought too it was #3 or even #2 because of the last answer. It's not really rare, but they all had fun knowing they ALL lost as you can see they were all laughing they guessed wrong.
Fans of Betty White (and who isn't?) might want to check out this playlist of all the eps of WML and TTTT she appeared on. All her WML shows are already posted, but there are new TTTT shows being added all the time! ruclips.net/p/PLqsaqh5sqUxprN4spg9FDonrj8RVa8udE
I practically worship Kitty, but I must say I DON'T like this hairdo on her. At all! Glad it bit the dust asap. The #3 marble kid was a delight. So sweet.
I think it was on a Rocky & Bullwinkle show where John Cameron Swayze was referred to as John Stammering Crazy. He sued the show. Don't know how the suit ended up.
Tompkins prosecuted Abel whose attorney, James Donovan argued against the death penalty and because of this Abel was alive a couple of years later and able to be exchanged for U-2 spy pilot Gary Powers on the Bridge of Spies -- all of this dramatized in Steven Spielberg's BRIDGE OF SPIES, for which Mark Rylance's performance of Rudolf Abel won him an Academy Award (and Donovan was played by Tom Hanks). This is one of those rare TTTT episodes that is steeped in history and yet the commenters here are either too ignorant of history or too hung up on Betty White or the mechanics of game play to even recognize it.
The marbles champion really had me fooled! I thought it was#3...

Okay, sometime after June 1958, the show switched from live to taped.
RIP Betty White
Sophia on the Golden Girls mentioned John Cameron Swayze once. I don't recall whether Betty appeared in the scene.

Betty White was MUCH better than Polly Bergen .
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.
The panel was unanimous in Game 1, and failed. They were unanimous in Game 2, and they succeeded.
