I love how you start your videos with an exasperated clip, "squeeee" about a piece, or a laughing jag. It's adorable and real and shows your true enthusiasm for fashion!
Yes! I use to hear my mama and aunt’s shoes click and I couldn’t wait to grow up and wear my big girl shoes. But babyyyyyyyyy now! You’re going to hear me coming!🤣
Omg I LOVE hearing my shoes clicking on cement! I’m old so when young my mother forced me to wear hush puppies 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮…..I wanted loafers because they click on the ground. Finally Mom caved, I got my loafers AND MY CLICKS! I was soooooo happy! I truly try to buy footwear that clicks but have to be realistic living in rural NY. Can’t hear clicks on dirt 😂😂😂😂😂😂…..sooo SOME boots have rubber 😂😂😂😂
Your Ganni boots have always been my favorites. I spent weeks looking until I found a similar pair (with black, white and brown snakeskin), and I have to say that EVERY SINGLE TIME I wear them I get tons of compliments! Thank you for the inspiration! (PS I had never even heard of Ganni until I started watching your YT channel. Now I have a dozen Ganni pieces!).
A couple that cooks together, stays together. Love the cooking segment with you and your hubby. All the boots are 🔥🔥🔥. Love Dr. Martens-its on my list to get one in my collection- Awesome video 🤎
I love how you "swoop" in your Instagram photos that showcase the looks you have put together - it's like a double-whammy, coz we get you on screen showing us the boots up close and then this gorgeous array of amazing put-together looks. Such a joy to watch. Xxx 🤩🤩🤩
Karen, I always loved wearing boots. My fav footwear and then I started watching you, and my collection exploded! Now, my collection has spilled out from my bedroom to my home office. I actually have boots on display in my home office, featuring my Ganni along with a couple of Dr. Martens. I have you to thank for this! And now after watching this, I see there are more boots to be had. ❤️
@Size24 NO More! Ugh, I just bought a pair of new sparkly, rhinestone bootie for the New Year's Day!! Sooo many shoes for only two feet!! Happy Holidays!!
This was FUN! That orange color looks Fabulous on you! My favorite of your boots are mainly the combat ones... surprisingly, I did really like the all "cream" boots. Also totally agree, the mock-croc totally look like JChoo's. Cheers!
I'm really sad I was not able to get those Zara boots. I asked two or three times but no response, though I was able to score a similar pair by Nine West at the thrift store for $10.00 :)
I just bought a near Identical looking pair from the brand Zign, I'm in Germany so I don't know if they are available in US. I have been wanting platform combat boots exactly like that ever since I saw them on this channel.
Thank you Karen …this was really helpful. Love all your boots. Now next please!? Lol - could u do a video on how to wear and style the most loved oversized boyfriend shirts!? Please …
So fabulous to see your boot collection all at one time! I like the snake print boots of yours. I honestly don't think I have a favourite of mine. I have about 15 pairs of boots. My greatest find was a pair of orange leather croc effect knee high boots. Made in Brazil. I picked them up for $5.00 from a vintage shop!!!
I think some kind of weird magic happens sometimes - I had the same thing, bought a jacket, hated it, waited to send it back, then suddenly decided I actually really like it! We need a bit of time to process something sometimes!!!
The new Bottega with the clear sole are absolutely fantastic! I have them in the black with a cobalt clue running down the bottom and then the clear sole! I also love the other Bottega lace ups with the rubber sole! Overall, chunky boyish/military style of boots can get you anywhere and in every occasion! Great choices Karen!!
@@KarenBritChick I had been searching high and low for this particular color combo and I happened to find it in Rome on a recent trip my family and I went to. Luckily, I live in Greece (next door to Italy) so customs was not an issue! Overall, I think euro prices are considerably better than US 💵 plus one can find a much wider array of styles! Btw, thanks for responding to my original text! 🙏
Oh Karen! Tony Lama (just like the animal) is a very famous western boot maker. Those boots will never wear out! Love your channel! You and your hubby are just so cute! *Blessed Be and Stay Well!* My favs are the Stuart Weitzman over-the-knee boots; they are AWESOME!
To wear in your leather boots, put thick socks on and warm the leather with your hairdryer and the leather will stretch really easy . Let them cool before you take them off then try them with normal socks x
Docs fan since I was 5 back in the 80's. I love your first pair on video, they ARE boot perfection! *My favorite in my collection: Doc M's, Shoreditch in black peppble leather. They have thin flat soles, I feel like a ninja in them :) they were a gift at a really hard time losing my parents, I walk taller when I wear these, they've been around the world with me. I loved your omage to your boots, and I'm glad we all have that very favorite "go to" pair!
Karen NOOOOO! The Tamara Mellons are so cool. You know you can lower the heel. I do it all the time because I cannot do more than 3" heels. I have a shoemaker take off up to an inch and the difference in comfort is unbelievable. Last time I was in NY I had a pair shortened at this great little place in midtown. Trust me, it works. ❤❤
@@itstrinitykaye absolutely you can do it. The cobbler will advise how much you can safely remove without affecting the shoe, usually no more than .5" to 1". I do it all the time. Especially when everybody was making 5" heels. I had 2" taken off a pair of pumps once and what a difference. Increases the comfort level by infinity.
@@lorydodoo1047 hi. It was quite a few years ago as I was just visiting NY but I believe it was Angela Shoe Repair at 156 E 39th in Midtown. They were really good, fast and reasonable. Although every good shoe repair offers this service. What stood out for me is that he was able to do it to a boot that had a platform and not a lot of places do. Good luck.
You’re an inspiration!! Love your channel and your take on fashion … One thing thou, can I complain in every video about how I couldn’t buy your Amazon line and that’s it should be available again? BRING THOSE CARGO PANTS BACK! Please, so 🤩 !!!!!!!!
Hey my love, for the first time we are visiting NYC!!! Inspired by what everyone is wearing in NY, I want to wear my best clothes who are sitting in the closet due to pandemic. No black as per your fall video and very much hoping to bump into you!
Love that you wear boots all year round, I'm the same! How good are docs - my faves. Also special mention to that bloody cajun burger - looked amazing!
Omg I just got to the part where you mention shoes are meant to crease. Yes! I worked in women's and designer shoes for years and can say there's no way to wear a leather shoe without creasing them unless you walk like a robot lol.
Love your boots! I have the same thing for platforms, I want to buy a bunch before they go out again, I wore them before and I will wear after, love the height and comfort.
I think the Ice Gray boots are a keeper because they are a very neutral color that can go with anything... Put some insoles inside to help with the comfort or have a shoe shop add a large square on the heel tap that's hot now to help you balance the much higher heel.
Hey Doll!! my go to girl for boots and much more. Michael always make the food from Hello Fresh look so good. Stay blessed as always. Have a great weekend.💕
I was looking for the last pair of zara boots too. Managed to find them the second time they restocked and never looked back. I looove them. Also the Bottega bounce boots look divine. I saw the H&M dupes up close but they don’t look that great in person.
Hi Karen! Just wanted you to know that its possible to trim out just a little bit of the heel hight of your boots. Not too much tough, as it can cause the front to point upwards if you know what I mean.. Most shoe repairs do that where I live and I have done it. Just ask them. The way to figure out how much they can take off,is to place the shoe on the edge of a shelf or something, than lower the heel while the shoe steps on the shelf an see for yourself how low can you go without the front of the shoe pointing up too much!
I have both of the Zara boots, and the H & M dupes of the plain black and the black with the rubber sole, I’m obsessed with boots, 3 pairs of Docs, I’m a collector too, I know I’ll love them for years! I feel less guilty seeing your collection 😊
Thank you for saying that about the creasing! I've been feeling some kind of way about my Bottegas creasin, but I don't understand how you wear them and they don't crease!
