BIOGRAPHY
Nino Porzio is an Italian singer and actor in the course of his musical career, he released five albums and four singles his songs have been included in many Compilation Italian and international.
Nino(Antonino) Porzio was on 4 June 1972 born in Palermo in Sicily, Italy. At the age of seven, he discovered his love for music and learnt how to play drums.
Due to his Italian roots, he began singing the Evergreens in his mother tongue in a folklore group, tirelessly before an ever bigger audience.
He got enthusiastic attention in the music scene at the music festival in Germany and Italy. The first release “Rosa” focuses on the extraordinary musical talent. Song and lyrics were penned by him.
The song “Sogno” was composed in 1998 and was chosen by GET-Ready publishing house to be incorporated in different discotheque samples and gained great popularity. At the turn of the century, the track was the starter for guest appearances in television and radio stations in Germany, Italy and Belgium.
In 2001, he participated in the singing competition “Voci Nuove Per La Discografia” in Rome organised by CBS Italia Edizioni Musicale e Discografiche of RAI Italy and was placed 60th out of a total of 8000 casting participants.
In 2003, the joint production “TiAmo” with Ralf Möller was released by the music producer MCP Sound & Media and Warner Music and at the same time, several mixes were made in over forty different samples with European interpreters such as Tony Marshall, Adriano Celentano as well as international stars such as John Lennon, Madonna and Elton John. In 2009, this song was voted by producer Ulrich Eichblatt “AKASA RECORDS” as a soundtrack during the film festival in Cannes, France.
In 2010/2011, Nino produced his current album “Caruso” in Naples with eight sentimental songs. The album was released by Mint Records/Siebenpunkt Verlags GmbH. The songs “Caruso” and “Luna” were lifted from different samples (Zyx Music, Mint Records, DA-Music, Goldhammer among others).
