I remember using my DSi to take so many pictures and record lots of silly sounds. I had that Photo Dojo game and flipnote hatena, too. When I tried to connect flipnote to the internet recently, I got hit with the message: "Error: No longer in service" 😢
Then I tried doing the same with the 3DS, and I got the same issue for Mii Streetpass and the 3DS shop. 😭 I never even got to enjoy the 3DS stuff and now it's gone.

i never had a dsi only a ds lite.... buuut my mom and aunt both had a dsi and they occasionally let me goof off on theirs, it was cool but i was never entirely sure what the big woop was about them aside from the camera
